Webinar on Introduction of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) 

The Potential for Contribution to Decarbonization with Reconstruction in Ukraine through the JCM -
This seminar was organized with the aim for disseminating JCM in Ukraine. In particular, this seminar focused on the basic JCM scheme, keys points for JCM project formulation, policies for decarbonization and reconstruction and expectation for the JCM in Ukraine, and information sharing on advanced technologies and good practices of decarbonization projects by Japanese companies. During Q&A sessions, questions about the details of the JCM scheme, such as alignment with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, allocation of JCM credits, benefits for project participants, and advanced technologies and introduction of waste management technology of Japanese companies were asked. And discussions between participants and speakers regarding the questions were conducted.
