But i cant afford to get shoulder surgery now and be out of commision for 1 months, especially when i'm working on this project that needs to be completed by end of march.... i'm open to surgery after the project but cant right now. thoughts.?
Hello. If the cyst is too big and is compressing the supraescapular nerve, causing pain with tingling sensation, then you should do the surgery. But I must tell you that in most of the times, the paralabral cyst don't cause pain, what makes me think: are you sure that's the only problem. Anyway, the paralabral cyst must be closed with a surgery. If you just drain it, it will come back
Have had shoulder pain in both shoulders since November 2023 been thru therapy 2 months very little relief orthopedic surgeon wants to inject both shoulders blindly what are your thoughts
Hello, Im a shoulder surgeon. If you have indication to do the injection, do it. For shoulder surgeons, the use of ultrassound for shoulder injection is not necessary.
