Expect the unexpected. I've installed this on several machines and met new challenges along the way. Don't forget to support the WebODM project @ www.opendronemap.org/webodm/ as it is a fantastic piece of software.
Docker can not find a WSL distribution... I had it working on my laptop.... i changed from SATA to SSD plus memory upgrade and wanted a fresh install... Why didnt i just copy the darn sata to SSD ... Already 6 days i am trying to get it back on... Also your video does not work for me... Windows 11 8GB RAM + swap. 250GB SSD
Yes, you can download the 3D model. If you want fully textured make sure you are doing the 3D process only and don't forget your side-looking views when taking the imagery.
Once downloaded you can delete the project on WebODM. The final products don't rely on the raw data. Everything will be found in the zip file that you download. I'd archive your raw drone images in case you need them again. An external drive, USB thumb drive, or SD card works great. Glad you found the video useful!
WebODM can leverage the GPU but I have not gone through the workflow. It's something I'd like to try. If I get it figured out, I'll be sure to make a video with instructions.
