Tsahi, is gonna make sure you've all got the basic fundamentals of WebRTC under your belt. It's a 101 tutorial, it's a baseline, may have heard it before but we want no one left behind. Already an expert? Then consider this a 20 minute nap time!

Thank you for sharing the video! I am new to WebRTC, and this video helped to grasp a fairly vague idea about the overall dynamics of WebRTC, and find out where to look for good books and materials. Before watching this, I thought I can learn WebRTC in matters of hours/days!

WebRTC helped me with my final year project. I developed a WeB App using WebRTC last year and I'm still learning. Nice presentation.

Very good information. I am trying to wrap my head around CCNA Collaboration at the moment and then onto some Skype for Business, but would like to revisit the books you mentioned. Thank you.

Great and clear talk. However, but google developers, pleeease consider a different approach to editing your videos. Always have the slides up in full screen and then maybe add a picture in picture of the presenter. The NAT transversal slides are nowhere to be seen.

+Ex Lover I actually do. Both of my parents immigrated to Israel from Turkey - I think around 1970. I was born in Israel. If there is something I LOVE is hearing Turkish accents. Reminds me of home and childhood.

Can anyone PLEASE make a good tutorial on using MediaSource? The world needs it more than the WebRTC tutorial.

Many ISPs in Europe are starting to put 3G/4G internet users behind NAT on a single IPv4. One IP might have a couple of hundred people behind it without any chance of getting incoming connections. So you'd have to pipe through your TURN server? And host it yourself? And pay a LOT of money. I'm not seeing a bright future with the initial premise of client to client tool in the real world.

The question will be the type of NAT in the scenario involved. If both are symmetric, then TURN will kick in - otherwise, it will be P2P by using STUN. Most stats I've seen around the need for TURN are 10-15% of the sessions requiring TURN. This changes depending on the use case.

Tsahi Levent-Levi I don't see the need for a STUN/TURN if it's a simple P2P video streaming. For an active session, the local IPs should do just fine. Am I missing something?
@tsahil

Vivek Sethi It just won't work. Other than that - it is fine. If you are looking for a longer explanation, you might want to check this free report of mine: bloggeek.me/webrtc-business-people/

Hello, This is a very nice video, but it is 6 years old. So this is my request to upload the new video on WebRTC then it would be helpful to the new generation. which covers all the new features updates of WebRTC. Thank you community.
