For a good overall on each band, a half wave dipole would be preferred for each band. I Solarcon Max Optimizer would be a compromise on 12 and 10, but still usable.

You never want AM modulation to the max.

If you want the full frequency option then remove the white wire.

I meant 95-100 percent when I referred to max.. not flat toppings or overmodulated

Yes it's just a different model on the outside.

You must have the proper signal and amplitude for each setting. Without it, you're just shooting in the dark. For example when adjusting S1. You must send the proper RF signal to the antenna jack. The number values are independent for each S meter mark. I believe you're overthinking it. It's a very simple process if you have the right tools and the patience to do it correctly.

I know how to adjust the signal.. what im sayin is, FROM THE FACTORY some of these are coming back with bad values after S7 or S9 settings.
