Your kids are so adorable! One piece of advice, which I have said before...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...Get a pool cover, or enclose that pool area, or even better, do both! I have a now 36 y/o daughter who is completely disabled with cerebral palsy from drowning in our pool. We had a couple of safety features, but a series of unfortunate events happened and she got out and fell in the pool, and was literally dead at the age of almost 20 months. I was distracted with my older children and newborn baby, and she escaped out of the house. A pool alarm is also HIGHLY advisable!Thankfully, God granted us the miracle I prayed for, and she is still alive, but she is 100% disabled!! Blessings to you and your family!
We know two families that lost children in their pools! It can only be that one time! Living near a large creek and former pool owner we worried about anyone drowning! It's the worst feeling when I heard how they were ready to go and a child was missing! He ran back to get his favorite pool toy! They were not able to revive him! The other family called the police because their 3 yr old was missing! It was winter and the police were asking questions and the one office yelled what is behind the fence and they said a pool! He jumped the fence and their son was floating face down on the pool cover's water puddle! He was their surprise baby boy that they were thrilled about! Their family never recovered from their loss! The pool was filled in and the couple divorced! Water is a draw for children and animals too! We have had several wild animals drowned in cold pool water! The new pool coverings must save on operating costs and the safety factor would be a blessing!
Nothing wrong with Alyssa commenting on John's shirt choice for their outing. I've had the same convo with my husband many times throughout our 33 year marriage. He's not great at coordinating outfits (also doesn't help that he's color blind). So at this point, when we are going somewhere where it matters to me what he wears, I just pick out his clothes for him. No need for any discussion and he's happy to just get dressed and go. Everyone's relationship is different, just sayin 🤷♀️

@@jeangill302 Their prairie dresses and remember when they wore clothes swimming, but the Bates boys were allowed to wear shorts! Old lady Bates has amnesia about raising her children! She goes to ballet classes and the grandchildren are dancing away! No Devils were swooping in to get anyone! Funny how they worried about their clothes but not about freaks like Josh Duggar! I still liked to know how she never changed a poopy diaper! Old man Bates said they were waiting for him to be changed! That explains why she brings a child when she's babysitting!

Next year, you should do individual colors and make it on different levels of intensity. I think the 3 older ones would like the challenge, but Maci and Rhett still need an easy hunt. My cousin did this with her grandkids and their little cousins. The two youngest ones had their own separate area. The older ones had a blast finding their own color and they weren’t finished until they found all 25!!! Go Rays!!!
You should do the Easter Egg hunt outside next year, so the kids have room to run around. It’s only fun if the kids can compete and literally RUN to see who can get the most eggs the fastest!! You can still confine the children to the confines of the backyard☯️ but also give them room to explore, run , and grow!! Are you excited for the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th!? I love egg hunts, even at the age of 57! 😅 Sadly this year was the first year in a very long time that I didn’t have my grown kids home to do a egg coloring or hunt! John, is so funny! Gotta love how a man thinks!

I Love Maci's little personality. "Rhett in a Basket" Too funny! Allie is such a loving big sister to Rhett, and so caring. The girls all made sure Rhett had a good amount of eggs in his basket. He will always have 4 other little mothers. Alyssa is so fashion smart I can see how she keeps John on point with his clothes choices lol. What a super fun Easter for the kids, Happy belated Easter to you all.
When I was a kid,we would go to my great aunt Shirley house for Easter, she had a very large yard and they would hide those plastic eggs in good hiding places,it was a good work out finding them

John is funny. The whole tshirt change with the hiking boots cracked me up 😅 right after he changed he said the other shirt was more comfortable, there both shirts so I'm sure the one he changed into was fine but he wanted to be dramatic.
