Believe this took place in Shanghai. Le Wagon is a french company, but in China has presence in Shanghai and Chengdu. I know you posted this almost a year ago, but if you haven't found the answer yet... here u go. If you have WeChat can search for the official accounts for LeWagon and follow them there :]

re: 33 min, you need a wha? an ICP? approval from the government for your website? Does this mean wechat login won't be available for most websites outside of china?

Yes. ICP is must for domain and SSL within China mainland.

and I have a question, I have no idea where to ask, so I'll take a shot here. I have a simple web forum for expats in China. I'd like to allow people to log in via wechat. Does someone have a simple guide to do this? Beginning with setting up a developer account. Thanks for any help. - Paul
