@ayse Who is to say they're not utilizing their privileges while getting married? They're graduating a semester early and doing what makes them happy. They don't have to live someone else's dream to be valid. They're happy and thriving. Let's not project or make them feel bad for doing what works for them. It's what they want to do with their lives and as long as they're healthy, successful, and not hurting anyone else, there isn't a problem. Being someone's wife at 22 may not work for you, but you shouldn't call someone else's life plan "lame."
i changed my last name legally but didn’t change it on any of my socials!! also about being engaged for a short time, i was only engaged for 6 months! i think getting engaged means you’re ready to get married so in my opinion, there’s no reason to wait! we were done planning after 4 months and the other two months we were kind of just waiting until the day of, which made me kind of anxious, any longer would have felt like forever
Excited for you 😍! I’m also currently engaged, my wedding is in June 2022! Don’t listen to people who are critical of your timing for the wedding: it’s your life! Also, for the dress I was told 9-8 months is sufficient, but not to push it beyond that!
Hey Julia! Fun suggestion, this is something my stepsis and her hubby did on their wedding! So, basically it's a game where you sit on a chair back to back, and you have his shoe and your shoe (each of you have one of each so he has your shoe and his own, and vice versa). Then, people ask questions about you two, such as "who was the first to say I love you" "who would most likely buy $1000 worth of fave things" etc. and you raise the shoe of the person you think is the answer! I think it's super cute and a great way to involve your friends and family! All the love, Avalon
You guys have know each other since middle school and your families know each other. Don’t worry about the haters. You are adults and moving at a good pace! This long term stuff people do today is ridiculous. Love to see that he honored you by talking with your family first. All Gods blessings!
@ayse So then go do all of that if that is what is going to fufill you in life? Why sit here and shit post? It literally doesn't affect you at all what Julia does with HER life. It's HER life, NOT yours.
I don’t think you guys are too young to get married. I got married when I was 21 and it was perfect timing, when you know, you just know… Congrax Julia! Can’t wait for future content! 🤗
Loaded questions dang! Your relationship and marriage and journey is unique to you, I hope you both enjoy every second of the process no matter how that looks 🤎
one thing that my sister is doing at her wedding which I think that you would like is putting disposable cameras at each table. And then at the end look through all the photos and put them in a dark room so you can put them all in like a wedding album and if you're having a DJ you can ask him to just announce " remember to take pictures on the disposable cameras on your tables before you leave"
Congratulations to you both so happy for you. The biggest tip I was given when my husband and I got married was to go through food line first that way you can eat a little something. I had so many of my friends and family tell me they didn't get to eat during their weddings. Best wishes to you both and happy planning.
Yayyyy!!!! My husband and I got married when we were 19 & 20 and everyone told us we were going to be married and thought we were rushing into it because we were only engaged for 5 months
You’re definitely not too young to get married!!! I married my husband (also named Keegan!) right when we graduated college at 22 years old. Almost 9 years later and we have 3 kids and so happy to have been making a life like this together. There’s nothing more special than starting a family together! (Even if it’s just you two for a little bit) 🥰 Best wishes for you!!!
I was 21 when I got married - he was 23 ... young by some standards, I guess? But we knew. And we just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. Not all easy, definitely a lot of amazing, and always at the end of the day, I am so happy it's him! Congrats on your upcoming wedding, and most importantly- your upcoming marriage!!
I'm so happy for you guys❤and I love how Keegan smiled every time you said that you were excited for the wedding, so cute🥺 I wish you the best of the world
Aww I love how you two look together 💕 God bless you Julia and your family. Also, You do YOU! The timing and everything is for your wedding and not anybody else’s. Honestly, If I felt that I found that one person I want to spend my life with , I don’t think I would want to wait. Wishing you both the best 🙏🏼💕
I'm so happy for you two! Some of the questions were really nosy in a way and pushy which was annoying bc you could literally see Julia being uncomfortable- like ppl don't be jelly be happy for her! Ur time will come too, like chill! Sheesh.
Congrats!! So happy for the both of you❤️ we got married when we were 24 within 6 months of getting engaged and we are 26 right now so try not to get stressed so much. Sure, the venue, dress, etc. are all important and something you want to remember, but remember you want a marriage not just a wedding👰♀️🤵♂️ I wish nothing but the best for the both of you!!
I got married at 19 after dating for a year and a half, and being engaged for 3 months. This was 5 years ago and I dont regret it one bit! Everyone's story is different and I wish you guys a happy marriage ❤️
Wow! Some of these questions! Everyone just seems to think you should do it their way instead of your own, apparently. "Why before you graduate? Why so young? Why get married so quickly?" Do things your own way, girl! 🙂
Girl just ignore all the rude questions! I had my whole wedding planned the year before my wedding! It’s less stressful for you once the time comes closer bc you have everything planned!
This was a great video seeing you together and being with us. Congrats again on your engagement and remember to take deep breaths and get relaxation in when you can. Everything will work out perfectly. 💞
I got married this past August at the age of 23 and didn’t feel that I was too young! I wish you guys a very happy life and all of the success for the wedding planning process, I know it can be a little hectic🙌🏻
I never understood being engaged for a long time like i thought it was just so you could plan your wedding but it’s all God timing. Wish you guys the best😁❤️
we had a family distant friend (that we weren’t close with and that wasn’t invited to the wedding) bring our dogs just to take pictures with us before the ceremony. we didn’t have them stay because it was too much stress on our dogs since we had so many people. it worked out perfect that way for us!
I can't wait for the wedding! You two are beautiful together! Don't listen to negative people. Your doing amazing! I've been waiting for this video! Ahh loved it!!! Do more of these videos w/ keegan !
My sister got married last week and my golden retriever was the ring bearer! One of the ushers was just gonna “dog duty” and after ceremony and pictures he drove our dog home and game back right away!! Worked good!
don't worry about having less than a year to plan bc so many people make it happen in under 6 months, I am sure you can make it amazing! also you're not too young so don't listen to the critics! lastly, unless you just really want to, I would recommend not vlogging your actual wedding day! soak it all in and be in the moment! of course we don't mind waiting until you're back from your honeymoon to see content if that means you enjoy your time more:)
Aw congrats again guys! Also great to see/get to know keegan a lil more too! :) Sorry i’ve been absent for a lil while but i cant wait to binge watch all the videos i missed! Ehe good luck to your notifications 😂
eeek I’m so excited for you!! I’m pretty sure my boyfriend is going to propose to be in a few weeks so this video is making me more excited and I really hope he does 😩 I’ll keep y’all posted!!
