the '60's taught me how to hear all music I've heard in past 50+ years; believe me my top ten includes extended versions of this song! I found it on YT, and never stopped watching(hearing) it.
I love this song but this wedding flash mob is going to be forever linked to this song in my head! This couple looks like the kind of people you want as friends and they are clearly a perfect match. I wonder how many groomsmen scored that night, lol.
mine was just me, my wife and the minister, at a secluded park in the woods, December 2020.. I always wanted a quiet wedding like that and Covid was the perfect excuse not invite my family.. We were in a hurry anyway because of some immigration issues.
That was awesome! When I'm able to walk a bit better and regain my balance, I'd LOVE to be a part of something like this! Looks like an absolute blast!
Dean Stephens same here my brother. I've limping forever and I would to enjoy things like this just like you. take care of your health and hopefully I see you in a video like this
@@robertherman4850 it was originally recorded in 1975 by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes then it was covered by Thelma Houston in 1976 and then by The Communards in 1986
Love this son you don't have to be gay to love it I think Jimmy Somerville has amazing vocals and Richard Coles is an amazing pianist better than I ever have been.
Just trawling for old 80's tracks I love, and spotted this. Though the words are a desperate plea the tune is so uplifting and joyous, you can't help but want to get up, dance and sing it at the top of your voice! Love this sharing of someone's new life
in a roundabout way was how I found this song! I was on YT, searching for Tommy Somerville because I believed his was the voice in the "Orlando" movie. I wanted to prove it so...what happens is I discover he is a rock star, imagine my surprise. His voice is just like no other!!
Extremely well choreographed---it must have taken a lot of time to practise! But.... it's not really a flash mob, if most of the people are in on it...
