Being bisaya, I can speak English, Tagalog, Hiligaynon, and Cebuano...also learning ilocano(my wife from San Fernando,LU), and Nihonggo. But I really salute thiis guy, not just a linguist but a great personality. Thank you Dwayne for loving Philippines and giving us good vibes.

This is great, I work with a lot of people in Manila and I taught myself a few phrases so I could speak to them in their native language out of respect. Over the last year they've all had a good laugh at me trying to learn/google translate stuff to them.

Galing niya grabe. Lalo n sa pagsasabi ng mg salita kasi diba and tagalog talagang emphasized yung mga syllables. Yung mga oo at a alam niya sabihin. Grabe first time.

This is the first video I have ever from you. I'm new and once I heard you speaking in Tagalog, I instantly got the impression that you learned it in your mission. I knew you are LDS once I saw this video. I accidentally clicked your video and I'm glad I ended up watching the whole thing! they belong to the high class of filipino society. most people are poor and cant afford such a wedding and paying dwaine to be their wedding host. i like how accepted it is to have a brace as an adult. thats shows you have money, thats why its not embarassing at all.

No it is the high class thats because over 20 million people here are really poor they dont even earn $1,000.00 a year and over 40 million people are considered poor so to afford something like this you have to atleast be a bit rich

I always wanted to learn different languages like Spanish, French, Chinese , Korean etc... Na inspire po ko sa inyo kasi ang galing mo mag tagalog and bisaya ❤ you can speak them perfectly. maybe I should start learning languages na interested ako and take it seriously. :) 😊
