See thats the dream team work with a loving spouse that shows true love and commitment god bless you both for many yrs to come and at least three more grandbabies lol
Rex here, an Outside Chapel, what a nice idea! Mike can make this happen! Melissa, all the other touches and your advice can make Hannah’s wedding so beautiful! Prayers for good weather and a glorious time!
Good morning Mike and Melissa greetings from warm north iowa 99° yesterday before the clouds moved in and it tried to rain got a few drops. I'm sure you made reference to it before but just knowing for sure today when Mike said Hannah's wedding is July 3rd, I just wanted to say that my daughter Hannah is getting married July 3rd also at about the same time, WOW. Not having the wedding at my home as you are so not near as much preparation.but she wanted a bunch of 1 1/2 to 2 inch thick log disks for her table candles and centerpieces and a larger piece for the cake. Hope it all goes off without a hitch. Have a day.
Morning Morgans & friends. It's almost the weekend! Been a busy week here on the farm playing catch up. Anyone with Xtra rain, please send it our way. Off to the butcher to pick up our beef. Have a great day and we'll see you down the road......
My daughter got married on our shooting range also. After that for the "Sand Mixing" ceremony they wanted to make a 556 cartridge and shoot it, so I brought my reloading equipment and the 2 with the mom & pops made one and they shot it on the range. The case is now a Christmas tree ornament.
Less than 3 weeks to wedding. Oh boy let the good times roll. Hope you’ll be able to get the cement poured before the big day. The outdoor chapel sounds perfect. Lots of projects. Keep safe.
Going to share something here, after Melissa mentioned the weather and hoped July 3rd would be "just like today"... I actually went and looked up the monthly weather forecast for Cranberry, PA. Obviously any forecast more than 3 days out is useless but happily... the current forecast is 78 and sunny 3% cloud cover 0% chance of thunder storm! If it changes....what I do for outdoor events is find all of the forecasts and cherry pick the best attributes of each and that is my forecast for the event! Have a day!
The chapel in the woods will be beautiful. And especially at that time of day. Mike will turn that into a venue you'll be able to rent out for other wedding's after Hannahs. Good luck with everything.
"Mars and Venus".....IE, The difference between men and women! I love it! When Mike is talking about preparations for the upcoming wedding, very near the top of the list is a discussion of "Porta-Johns". I can pretty much bank on the fact that is not necessarily near the top of the list for Melissa and Hannah! God bless our differences! 🙏😌
Mike, looks like alot to do in a short time to get it done. If we weren't so busy, I would be very tempted to bring a couple of friends and the motor home.up to help y'all out for a week. We are 2 weeks behind on 2 jobs due to materials and rainy weather. Please be safe and hello to the Family.
I love it Mike. Its outside stuff. My wife gets so mad at me because of indoor jobs I drag my feet. Outside I try to do a lot. I did a lot of indoor remodeling. But non are 100 percent. I need one piece of trim in master bathroom for example.
I can't wait to see you two all dressed up. Melissa, I know you are going to be the prettiest mom there. How do you think Hunter is going to take not having Sister around as much?
Everything is looking great, and I know it will be perfect for the wedding. Just one random note from the video, I was so glad to hear you use the term “crusher run”. I worked in a quarry in my early twenties and the correct name was crusher run. “Crush and run” has become a common and acceptable name for this material, but I cringe whenever I hear it.
I think it might be much easier to shoot with filtered light, vs. direct sunlight. Use a lot of fill-flash, but should be okay. Really a challenge, you're dead-on right, for an amateur, but a pro will have the right equipment and the forest backdrop should make for some outstanding images.
Good morning everyone. 80º in Kansas City, 98º for the high today. Having a HVAC come by later, who makes the best furnace/AC combinations now? My Lennox is still cooling but is 30 years old. Stay safe, be humble & kind and have a day.
Bosch is the way to go. Their units are able to speed up or slow down to just the right amount of output to maximize efficiency. And if anything goes wrong with it, the warranty is excellent AND there is onboard diagnostics to help with troubleshooting.
Mike, as close as I can tell you have a pretty good stand of poke salad in the topsoil you're moving. Making us southern folks cringe every time you get a bucket full!!
17 Jun '21 - Everybody needs to have the equipt, building resources and most importantly the knowledge and vision to put together a Wedding Aisle and setting for their daughter and family as ya'll do. You know you are already a fortunate family. And as a viewer I wish your daughtera lifetime of happiness. - - - Guy Rivard P.S.Speaking as a one time owner of a photograpnic studio (in another lifetime) I'll wait for the videos that more than just one someone will be taking. 0ne other suggestion, if I might, feel free to scatter those small "Quickie" cameras around the Reception area tables along your family members telling all to shoot what ever they want along with a box at the door where they all can be left. You would be suprised at the combination of friends that get together and some of the joyful pictures only they who are free to roam around enough to capture the moments. The labor is freely given by all attendents.
Did you straighten out the plastic against the building since Melissa unrolled it crooked? And I can't wait to see the wedding area when you are finished.
I went to an outside wedding this time last year on a farm the biggest problem was all the women wearing high heels had a hard time getting around in the dirt and gravel, the only place they had planking was the dinning and dance area; somthing to consider in your plan
im still trying to figure out how you will get all your concrete down, cant really drive on those panels with a mud buggy can you? doesent seem like you can get shoots in where you need them, unless they pump it
I'm addicted to Outdoors with the Morgans... my doctor told me not to quit watching it COLD TURKEY.. but to wean myself off of it. He recommended that I cut back on 1 new episode every month.... :) to hell with that .. GO MORGANS !!
Making a list and checking it twice. Lots to do. It’s been an amazing transformation since the early days of clearing and cutting up trees for the building.👍👌
Didn't see that coming! I had wondered exactly where the wedding would take place, now I know. You two have so much to do! 17 days, well 16 after today. I can't see where the tent will be. There's always something or somethings to look forward to here. I like that the ceremony will take place in the woods! Awesome. Just a thought, if any guests are heavy, will chair sink into forest floor? Might be some laughter when uncle Joe falls over when the side of his chair sunk down 6 inches! When Melissa walked around the excavator as you moved dirt made the video crazy good. Maybe one day that will be Ty's job to follow you around w the camera. I just loved today's video Mike and Melissa, very nice! I am looking forward to so many things! This channel is so exciting, wow‼👍🚜❤👰
Have a backup plan for rain....spicy chicken or Hello fresh with the catering...country band with dancing in barn..elevate buckets on tractor and excavator arch together for walk thru by wedding 👰 party
That’s going to be a beautiful Chapel In The Woods !! Make it happen Mike. You all are getting it together. Thanks for sharing with us. Fred.🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👋👋
17 days… wow! You may want to find out about renting some astroturf or lay down some sod… This will be spectacular and wonderful memories for Hannah & your family❣️ Marcus from Chesapeake VA.
Mike its a beautiful day here in Northern Virginia Also, Nice job on the floor panels, my company Installed in-floor heat in hundreds of Jobs over 31 yrs. Always a lot of preparation, but the best heating system by far! We Used Geothermal as the Heating source in our Company Quonset building in our videos🚜👍🏼🇱🇷
Mike and Melissa, I am glad you will have something beautiful for Hanna's wedding. Now it must fall short of Hanna's beauty. Hanna in a wedding gown best most Cathedrals for beauty and God's grace. I will remind you, I joked about a Wedding Gazebo a couple of years ago now. I had just seen Eva in concert formal gown. She was all elegance and poise, looking better than many brides. So if you are a bit on the back foot, Sorry I saw something like this coming years ago. My mother did baby sitting for years. Both Eva and Hanna are far more mature and responsible than one of her clients, with multiple kids. Morgans raise no fools, God bless them. BTW Boston, Washington DC, and my own Boston's Fireworks will not match Hanna's wedding sparkle. Hopefully Your fireworks will put any evils spirits on the run as I believe the Chinese use them. Mixing the timeless beauty of the Morgan Ladies and the forest is a great idea..
Phil here from NE Indiana. I know nothing about heated floors but that Crete Heat Panels looks like the ticket. I'm very impressed with those panel. Getting married at the run range. How cool is that. And Melissa...it's outdoor stuff...Mike is your guy. I have no doubt he will get it done. Mike has a plan. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. It's going to be a great day.
