THATS WHAT IVE BEEN HEARING, I KNEW THAT CRINGEY ASS WAY OF TALKING WAS FAMILIAR. Thank you, you solved why her talking makes me roll my eyes immediately.
exactly! there are types of characters that are exclusively for entertainment aka movies and such and once you translate that to reality, it's not really as fun as fiction.
@@ExtremeMadnessXyeah just watching this clip, I would be really annoyed that someone would be talking to me with that much angst and pride because I like different things and do things a different way than they do.
I heard that only after a few episodes she stopped blinking, it wasn't from the start cause it was after a specific scene she shoot without blinking and the director loved it
so weird that people make comments about reddit like this and get likes, when literally the majority of people who take the time to write youtube comments also use reddit.
The only similar thing is that Sheldon rarely expresses colorful emotion Wednesday is not a genius and probably isn't a fan of young Sheldons hobby (comic books) So Sheldon will probably just leave immediately
She is just a person who doesn't care what people think about her and became emotionless to not feel pain otherwise she was really nice to Enid afterwards when she got attached and fell in love too later with a guy
you do realize she isnt TRYING to seem cool or anything? thats just how she is shes mostly emotionless and doesnt care which makes her come off as an asshole
@Hircine, Lord Of The Hunt I usually dislike emojis as well, especially when they're spammed by children. However, they certainly do have a place in the world: they're useful in indicating approval or acknowledgement of a message on WhatsApp, and they can certainly complement sentences to convey emotions better.
@Hircine, Lord Of The Hunt It's ironic that you made this comment considering your first sentence was wordy and redundant as opposed to being concise. "I save my actual higher up way of talking-" You could've just said "I speak more eloquently while arguing"
She's actually a very good roommate she set very clear lines of what's hers and what's yours. She told you definitively what she wanted and what she was going to give as a roommate and she took an interest in your writing enough to where she read it and was able to give her personal thoughts on it.
There's a difference between good and effective. She is very effective at getting her point across but tearing down art without even a conversation, demanding silence from her roommate and harshly criticizing enid's blog without prompting are all major dick moves. Clear boundaries are good but Wednesday is pretty much an asshole at this point.
@@avrilslittlesisand that's the point. She's an Adams through and through. Others might be polite about it but to her family blunt harsh criticisms are better They enjoy things others find unpleasant whether it's gross things like insects or just being a dick to people. EDIT: Ok guys my argument was bad. We can stop now
She is not a good roommate, she thinks she is better than everyone else. I always got the feeling she was written as a quirky 'no feelings'-rational character
@@chrisriley2321 yeah most of people people who watch wednesday didnt watch addams family, which is something that most of my friend do, and they'd say that she's too ruthless or cold, when she's already get taught like that since she was child, and she's a genius and already been taught it just quite norma behaviourl in their family, even her brother that potray as an idiot manage to make his own bomb and rocket
Enid does have bite, she just prefers to be freindly. On the other End Wednesday does have a heart she judge prefers to be abrasive. Which makes sense in a way since Wednesday wants to keep others out while Enid wants to bring people in. Enid is also empathetic so her changing to Wednesday approach might have actually gotten respect from her.
I don't get how that's an insult, to be honest, if someone said that about my room and my room was like hers I'd just agree, it's nothing really to work yourself up about. It's their opinion anyway, I might be overthinking the insult but I don't know, it's not something I'd be insulted by
Nah she breathes heavily when she’s emotional, blinking is her probably doing quick thinking, since you need that in writing if your doing it off the top of your head.
Y'all distracted from how mid this show is and are focused on a bad actress not blinking. I missed it when shows had cool character details and not things that change zero things about the character.
SHE BLINKED IN THIS SCENE FOR ANYONE WANTING TO FIND A SCRNE SHE BLINKS IN Edit: some of y’all are taking this joke a little too seriously 😅 this is just a little joke. Also that is for the likes 🖤
in another part she did when she was like some diner or something with a dude (tyler??? idk ive never watched the show lol) and i was super surprised since supposedly sHe NeVeR bLiNkS
@@lilithdabria7962 There are both Extrovert and introvert assholes. But yes Wednesday seams to be a functional true Introvert. That means she can do any extrovert activity and function well but would rather not. This true type of introvert are rare in fiction especially as they can't transform themselves like those with Social Anxiety or at least Shyness that may be an Extrovert, in the middle or and introvert once they overcome those problems.
That was brutal. Wednesday was really mean to Enid. The fact that Enid wasn't let down by this behaviour proves that she is strong and confident in herself. I would probably silently leave the room and cry in the corner
"Looks like a rainbow vomited on your side!" "Rope, Shovel, Hole." Dang that's totally something Wednesday would say! Edited: Thanks for the likes y'all.
@@TheBlueboy7777 what the fuck no I've had toxic relationships and I still have the scars on my arms and legs and before you say " it's what made you who you are today" I don't want to be how I am today
Seriously like I can agree with hear with some things she said to Enid I mean, Enid's kinda dumb. But still wanting to be like Wednesday is pathetic, not only for the fact ppl wont just stand and look at how you treat them like sh** but also cuz shes not a baddas, shes just mean af
It's bc she different and doesnt like people who is happy around her and remember when her pet scorpion died well she prob though having emotions doesn't help anything idk so no hate please
I love the part where Enid turns on the music really loud and starts dancing to annoy Wednesday. Plus, I really love that she stands up for herself towards Wednesday.
"Your novel? Oh, you mean your Harry Potter fanfick?" "It's not a fanfick. It's an adaptation." "Let me guess, Malfoy is very troubled and makes out with Harry?" "...this conversation is over"
She divides the room in half, half and half fair. She says silence would be appreciated, she didn't say shut up. And then she attacks her saying she's a bad writer. I can't defend her on that, that's being rude.
@@TheBoxingNinja I can, I'd rather hear the truth than fake praise. The comparation with serial killers is kinda rude, but I'd understand it's her personality
I would’ve gotten in my fallout 76 red rocket power armor and crush Wednesday skull then tell my new friend Enid that side of the window will be temporarily red to hide the blood after when cleaned by me will have al the colors back
That would of been so much better than “ I’m going to take this down because I don’t like it and won’t ask you about it because I’m an a-hole” I don’t like Wednesday or how nobody stands up to her bullcr*p
@@Sophie-Buendia yes if they agreed on half and half there roommates they both are living in a room not one person living on each half if that was the case the girl would already have one side of the room her way unless her old roommate also liked it that way but yes Communication is required if it wasn’t the other girl can take Wednesday’s side down and this is how I do it and you don’t get a say like how Wednesday did
They were friends the whole series this is just the 1st episode.....(they even became bestfriends at the end) they just had 1-2 fights which was solved pretty quickly
Can't do anything about it that's how the story is supposed to go. Literally the reason why it's called "Characters". All characters have annoying traits. Enid's patheticness and clueslessnes can sometimes be annoying and Wednesday's pessimism can sometimes be annoying. Both characters are different and both characters also have a role in real situations. Just know when to apply what. Also if you watched the whole series they did become friends and Wednesday did cared for Enid and that's just who she is. Wednesday doesn't have to become soft to cater to the world around her. She's perfect the way she is and she should stay that way that's what she is made for.
