I am SO GLAD the interviewer mentionned The Fallout, why is this movie so underrated/underexposed?? It clearly deserves more recognition. Jenna was amazing in it and the topic is so important. And clearly she seems very proud of being part of the project! I wish the other interviewers had brought it up too at the time she was doing press tour for Wednesday
it was a true relief she was not questioned about the dance scene. :D She is clearly uncomfortable and upset most of the time when in public. Seems like she is traumatized by the loads of pressure and dump questions. Thank god this interview was a nice one, she loosened up a little after a few minutes. Actually i wonder why she is not allowed herself to take credit for all of her hard work. Like... i mean she put so much effort even in that dance scene and knowing it was put together just few days before shooting it IS awesome actually. I mean most of its parts were improvised as i learded from other interviews, so... The girl is amazing and it is sad to see that she just could not admit it but push and hit herself even more. Her book was nice as well but now it seems like she consider it as something awkward and do not want to speak about it at all. Hope she will be a little easier on herself one day. Admitting our successes not equal to being narcist or lazy or anything like that.
She asked her about the book regarding her experience as Wednesday and she just gave her a simple answer. I dont believe she felt akward about her book. I understand why you believe that though... While the lady was asking her that question Jenna made a weird expression on her face. Lady noticed it and thats why she felt akward and turned her head down. This is something i experience everyday. She felt bad and she was so cute while doing so. She is really nervous and tries to control it so when she fails she feels guilty of not being a good enough professional. Which obviously is not the case
Theinkowner, you answered your own question in your second sentence. She didn't have to say it in an interview that she feels uncomfortable in public and doesn't like so much attention, I can already tell because I'm kind of like that, especially when I saw that she brought a stuffed animal to all the Netflix Cast React videos. She's an actress because she loves acting, but like me, she gets really uncomfortable when she is praised so highly for her work. Words like, "Perfect", "Superior", "Incredible" etc. are too strong. When we hear feedback that is only extremely positive, it makes us feel like we are being treated like perfect humans that had no struggles when doing our work. I know people mean well, and for some people, those words are necessary to know that they really performed well, but people like us need more simplistic words, like you're talking to someone at your level. I'm not sure if it's an introvert thing, but it's not something that she necessarily needs to change. Some people need to be talked to on the same level, others need a lot of positivity. You as the audience and/or interviewer need to learn how to adjust to and approach each type of person correctly in order to not have misunderstandings or make interviewee feel uncomfortable. Acting is a hard industry for those like us, but introvert actors are really trying hard. I think the media and Hollywood also needs to work with us too. Not everyone is an extrovert, and yet Hollywood treats all actors as if they are
The short answere to your question of why doesn't she give herself more credit is simple. She's a perfectionist and as a perfectionist I can personally atest because Im one too that they are notoriously hard on themselves for no apparent reason. Perfectionists are rarely satisfied with what they do even if they know what they did was amazing. Lots of creative types are like this. It's a blessing and a curse.
i love the fact that she gets so squirmy when someone gives her a compliment... 12:41 shes so fucking humble its unreal
This is the most interesting interview that they have done to Jenna much deeper and it would be to just ask her about the dance, I really liked it and it was seen that she was very comfortable
Jenna is a very smart young woman. And this interviewer has seen that as well. I genuinely liked her questions because Jenna could actually answer the way she needs to explain herself. Most of the interviewers are only looking for sensation and are almost unable to handle themselves. Jenna knows this but I can imagine how tiresome that gets after you get the same question 10 times in one day. I mean, that woman who started doing the dance like she was doing some kind of ritual at the Golden Globes was really very far below Jenna especially in a sense of maturity. Jenna was like "Are you kidding me?" It's hard to ignore Jenna nowadays, she is amazing at what she does because she does it with so much passion. And that can be seen. Truly a remarkable person.
I know it was 4 months ago, but I love your comments. Jenna is a remarkable person and is wise beyond her years. We love her so much! You can see that she feels uncomfortable when we shower her with praise, but she truly deserves it. 💖 Wonderful person inside and out. I can't wait to see what comes next for her.
love how she wants to represent POC properly. as a POC myself i'm so proud of her and so grateful to her for this. i owe her so much. such a beautiful soul on top of her outstanding acting skills
Honestly, she said she could have done more or improved the scenes but the show is just mind blowing. It is perfect. The best show I think I’ve ever seen. I am 14 and I don’t really watch Netflix or shows but my parents said to watch it and I found it interesting as no emotion was shown.(I would give examples but no spoilers haha)
Jenna appears to handle it all very well - she doesn't seem harried or pressured at all, which in an industry like this is tough enough for a seasoned actor, let alone someone of Jenna's age. Looks like the future is bright for her; good luck and the best of wishes.
The fallout had a big impact on me cause I could never imagine going through that and it showed me what it can be like and the follow up effects of that trauma. She did an amazing job in The Fallout and so did the rest of the cast.
Uugh 😍 she’s just so gorgeous and her smile 😍 her sarcasm 😍 her style😍 just everything about her😍. She’s so creative, talented, and different. She’s definitely growing in every way, shape, and form. It looks great on her. Jenna WAS and always will be GREAT at everything she does. I can’t wait to grab my popcorn and enjoy every film she plays in from here on. Jenna’s if you’re reading this lol…….I know u hate watching yourself on films……but I also know u love popcorn. 🤷🏽♀️ maybe we can catch a film and smack on popcorn and cranberry till we can’t no more 😉
People don’t realise the hard work and stress the media industry is. Most think it’s fun, fame and fortune. It’s also cut throat, stressful and endlessly exhausting.
I feel like when she was talking about people'r reactions to a deadpan child vs teenager, she might have been also talking from experience? She said in multiple interviews that she was always a "weird" child. I feel like maybe when she was talking about people thinking "get a grip nobody likes you" she was also talking from personal experience.
Ela tava bem confortável nessa entrevista e bem felizinha ❤️ chega o coração fica quentinho vendo ela "brincando" com as pessoas e sorrindo ♥️❤️♥️🥺🤏🏻🛐🛐thank you for posting the Full interview

@@mariemorales4165o,lol,Jenna was talking about herself, nobody asked her about Percy, she didn’t say anything about him and she will not say anything about him
why would jenna discuss something that has nothing to do with her when percy himself hasn’t said anything, go in his dms and ask him to speak up about it
