His merukhand taans are catching up to his insane sargam capability it seems (this time I can't choose whether his sargams were better or taans(unlike his previous performances in which sargam was clear winner although taans were also very good non relatively speaking), which is a compliment for his taans because I don't think there is anyone better than him at 'unstructured sargams' in the whole world currently, as for doing sargams on higher notes it doesn't matter as his upper octave isn't fully developed yet and doing sargams at high notes like a Qawwal means nothing, if one can display one's mastery over sargams or any component for that matter even on normal octave that's a sufficient proof of their skill), now only his upper octave remains to be developed fully(as he still feels a bit of stress while going up except for when he does taans), in terms of gayaki and understanding of raagdari he is not singing less than any pandit or ustad, hope he keeps on developing more rapidly, out of this world performance to say the least

In the vilambit composition I count 56 (including intermediate) beats in each cycle instead of the usual 48 as in Vilambit Ektaal. Can someone clarify the taal the vilambit is in? I have heard previous recordings of this composition in Vilambit Ektaal only. Anyways great rendition!
