Week 16 - NIPT testing and Sensitivity/Specificity 

Dear Learners,
This is an adjunct (not testable) to your CBL sessions talking about prenatal screening. A common question that is asked is: Why don't we offer NIPT testing to all patients?
This video is designed to explain the test characteristics of NIPT testing as well as introduce you to one of the most clinically important takeaways of statistics: sensitivity and specificity and how to apply them to clinical practice (SPIN and SNOUT).
I promise even if you don't care about NIPT testing you will learn something you will use in the future.
