I've been sick so trouble recording for long hours, here's some notes on the must-add players note: league settings will impact rankings i.e plus minus, blocks, etc, i.e if your league counts hits it would increase the ranking of wilson, tsyplakov, barbashev, zacha, etc THIS MEANS THE RANKINGS AREN'T 1:1 FOR YOUR LEAGUE, JUST A ROUGH ESTIMATE ON VALUE SPREAD ACROSS LEAGUES also some guys like hayton, norris, dach etc only have C eligibility and i recognize that being a reason for their roster percentage being low (it's still too low though) Forwards: 1. Dylan Guenther -this is obvious, doubt he's available anymore, i've been hyping this guy for a month lol 2. Matvei Michkov -looked electric last night, may have to hold through the growing pains but could be a league winner in the second half of the year 3. Bryan Rust -healthy, now L1 and pp1, great peripherals, don't sleep on him 4. Pavel Buchnevich -was concerned about move to center, but he's looking great, kyrou on his line, advanced stats suggested a bounce back and could see him be a point per game player again 5. Mark Stone -L1 and PP1 with Eichel (which is new), Barb-Eichel-Stone was COOKING 6. Gabriel Vilardi -don't panic on him, L1 and PP1, he'll start producing 7. Cutter Gauthier -should have good deployment, elite shot totals, speculative breakout 2nd-half guy 8. Anthony Duclair -no brainer, L1 and PP1, will produce 9. Jake Debrusk -L2 with Petey, PP1, looks good out there 10. JJ Peterka -your idiot leaguemates may drop this guy, don't panic, should have very good deployment, breakout potential 11. Tyler Toffoli -celebrini being out hurts but great deployment and great peripherals, underrated 12. Pavel Zacha -attached to Pastrnak even-strength and on the man advantage, looks great out there, lindholm on his line may help improve his totals from last year, GOOD HITS 13. Maxim Tsyplakov -L2 and PP1, looks really good out there, ELITE HITS 14. Josh Norris -L2, PP1, solid peripherals, no brainer, underrated 15. Barrett Hayton -L1 and PP1, solid periphs, we knew he was bouncing back because of his advanced stats, deployment is secure, no brainer 16. Tom Wilson -L2, PP1, if your league values hits he is elite 17. Jake Neighbours -secure deployment, L1 with Thomas, PP1 net front Kreider-lite 18. Nick Schmaltz -crappy peripherals but elite deployment L1 and PP1 with Keller 19. Victor Olofsson -moved to l3 even-strength which sucks but still PP1 which he should hold onto, looked great on there, only downside is bad peripherals 20. Leo Carlsson -breakout potential guy worth holding onto and seeing how he performs 21. Ivan Barbashev -L1 with Eichel, that line was COOKING, if your league counts hits he goes way up in these rankings, definitely temper expectations though he isn't PP1. he will cool down 22. Pierre-Luc Dubois -L2, PP1, good hit production, dual eligibility, being slept on a bit tbh 23. Kirby Dach -L2, PP1, solid peripherals, could very well have this deployment all year considering even when Laine was healthy he was practicing on PP1 24. Logan Cooley -not pp1 and bad peripherals but guy looks electric out there and is attached to Guenther, maybe he can take Schmaltz off pp1 at some point 25. Logan Stankoven -L1 with Robertson and Hintz while Bourque is out, don't get too hyped though because when Bourque is back there's a good chance they move Johnston back to L1, which makes Stank and L3/PP2 guy, we'll see 26. Connor Zary -L2 and PP1 guy, looked great last night, had solid numbers last year, bad peripherals but if PP1 sticks he could be sleepy 27. Yegor Chinakhov -L1 and PP1, not sure if this sticks because it makes no sense having Fantilli and Marchenko PP2, but for now he is a sleeper 28. Kent Johnson -should get dual eligibility soon, looked good in first game, bounce back potential in terms of his advanced stats from last year, bad peripherals but if he stays PP1 he will have value 29. Alex Laferriere -don't know how long this deployment will stick but L1/PP1 is really good and he has a very low roster % 30. Mason McTavish -currently PP1, looked good out there in preseason, breakout potential, although i have my concerns about the powerplay usage Anaheim runs, bad peripherals and only c eligibility as well 31. Jack Quinn -don't panic on him if you're in a deeper league, l2 and pp1 potentially? powerplay units messed up with Peterka out but he has potential 32. Nick Foligno -moved up to L1 and PP1, solid peripherals, looked much better than Mikheyev on top line, we'll see if PP1 sticks 33. Marco Rossi -bad peripherals, only C, and didn't have a lot of ice time in his first game, but he's L1 with Kaprizov so worth a look 34. Nikolai Kovalenko -L1 with Drouin out, L2 with other guys out, worth a look especially considering his numbers in the KHL, won't be PP1 though 35. Zach Benson -L1 with Tage and Tuch, this could stick because he's looked good, won't be PP1 though 36. Anthony Beauvillier -L1 with Crosby, won't be PP1 though Defensemen: 1. Justin Faulk -doubt he's available anymore but this one was obvious, if he's available i'd give him a look easily 2. Jake Walman -plus minus may be rough if your league counts those, but huge deployment increase from last year, elite blocks, will have solid shots/hits too and decent production 3. Adam Boqvist -PP1 on the Panthers still 4. Lane Hutson -honestly could see him taking over PP1 sooner than later (may have been wrong about him), crap peripherals but can't deny that the production could be there 5. Brandt Clarke -QBing PP1 still, even-strength minutes are crap though 6. Jordan Spence -good even-strength time, only PP2 for now though Goalies: Kuemper looked good, will see a lot of games Ingram 3 starts in a row, could see 55 games on a potential playoff team Gustavsson looked good, Wild could easily be a playoff team and Gus could return to how he played in 22-23, some risk with Fleury and Wallstedt but it will all depend on how he performs Montembeault - looks great out there, it's very early but even when he comes back to reality we should see them break up the primeau/monty split up, so volume could be sick plus lots of shots against Ersson - he's the guy on philly, 50ish games and will get peppered with shots Stolarz - already good in category leagues but could see some volume if Woll cannot stay healthy Lankinen - looked way better than Silovs, good stream before Demko comes back in a couple of weeks Dostal - great volume before gibson returns in a couple of weeks Blomqvist - ned will come back and this guy will be irrelevant, but could be a good stream if you are desperate for a goalie, don't panic on Jarry yet guys Wolf - Vladar didn't look the best, if Wolf outplays him you could see 40+ games Levi - playing good, 1a/1b with UPL probably (not happy about it lmao)
Mittlestadt is looking like the move for this week. Love the videos man they are so informative and right to the point. Don’t know what I’d do without them… do the research myself? Whom I kidding
Would be cool if you included a quick section on streaming strategies for the week - like, Anaheim having those 3 later week off-nights is a good opportunity to grab someone from a team that plays mon/tues and then swap them for an Anaheim player on Wednesday. Get 5 games out of that streaming spot instead of 4. So, who are the best streamers on teams that play Mon/tues? Thanks for all the info as always
What do you think about Laferrière over Byfield this week? Planning on dropping Quinton for Laf. Playing top line top pp next to Poopitar and Kempe for 4 games.
I have a points league with hits and weekly lineup setup Should i add any of Bo Horvat, Sam Bennet, Necas, Hayton, Zacha, Cooley, kopitar or Huberdeau for either Vilardi or Gauthier?
Rank these players for next week. Rakell (line 2, pp2), Laferriere (line 1, pp1) , Rodrigues (line 2, pp1) , Colton (line 2, pp1) Only guys I can drop are Duclair (line 1, pp1) Rakell, Dillon, Freddie Andersen (also have Markstrom and Kuemper). 12 team, H2H, G, A, P, PPP, SOG, HIT, BLK, PIM
@@oneofyk nope not a Ducks fan. In fact I have no allegiance to any team lol Btw Lacombe wasn’t benched. He was out with an illness Not sure what’s gonna happen with that top unit. Zellweger seems to be the odd man out at the moment but who knows
