oboy is so fun to watch.. they prob just have fun when they play in the tourneys, like one doesnt see 3 people stack first gen in comp ever. but its fun to watch them
Really strong commentary duo. Entertaining to listen to and good strategic discussion. One aspect that is a little disconcerting is Ray's use of the word "we". She uses it to mean pretty much anything. There are a couple of stretches were "we" is used to mean the survivors, then the killer, and then spectators in nearly consecutive sentences.
The point system works as follows: First you have gens, for each gen completed you earn one point, the survivor with most gen completed wins. If this is equal you look at the second stat. Second you have hooks, for each hooks the killer gets they earn one point, the killer with most hooks wins. If this is also equal you look at the last stat. Lastly you have first hooks, for each hook on a survivor that has not been hooked before the killer gets one point, the killer with most first hooks wins. If this is also equal a tie breaker match or a redo of the match will happen.
Whichever survivor team has the most gens done wins. If they're tied, whichever killer has the most hook states wins. If they're still tied, whichever killer has the most unique hooks wins (1 for each survivor).
@@maxmotion6371 But why during the match of Singularity, Sinners were at 9 hookstage (against 12) and they still participate to the tiebreaker?.. and it means 4-man slug count as 12 hookstage? xD
@@nouvaa4990 with the singularity game it should've said 12 hooks, but the reality is that they were just slow updating it. A hook stage is granted in the following scenarios: A survivor is hooked(obviously) A survivor proceeds to the next phase while on hook(this can be from first to second or second to death) A survivor is bled out, in this case all remaining hookstages are granted meaning a 0 hook survivor would give 3 stages and a death hook survivor would give only 1.
@@maxmotion6371this is me just being nitpicky but another way to get hook stages is if the killer moris a survivor. Then all remaining hook stages are also granted
So there is something i am curious about. In the season 9 rules sheet, under the list of banned survivor perks.. why is dramaturgy banned? I am probably biased cuz it's my favourite exhaustion perk, but its not exactly meta-defining nor incredibly weak. So why is it not allowed to be used? Just a curious dramaturgy enjoyer
Almost definitely because of the RNG aspect. In comp DBD they try to eliminate as much RNG as possible, which is why there are set maps, banned perks, etc. With Dramaturgy having 4 possible outcomes (including randomly receiving a strong item), it's banned to prevent any potential game changing items/exposed statuses.
