Joshua Tree was incredible! And also the site of one of our trips most embarrassing screw ups! Then we were off to Austin Texas to see the Solar Eclipse and then back to Joshua Tree for some beautiful hikes!
So glad that you got to see totality! For many people it's a life-changing experience. I've seen two solar eclipses now: 2017 and 2024. Each and every eclipse is different. Oh, and I love the "Check Norris Facts" reference.
You need to tell more of the ‘bad’ stories (especially if Matthew is wrong!’, so that we don’t all assume life is just smooth sailing on the road together When I saw the burgers I thought ‘oh, I know which one of those is Matthew’s!’ - but I was wrong! Big shock when I saw Desmond with it!! Joshua Twee National Park looks other worldly - so amazing! So…Beate doesn’t like the mountains…she does know what lies between BC and Alberta, yes???
