Love the hexagons and the wreath. You wow me with your design prowess, color choices and your story telling with words and pictures. Every week this year has been a learning lesson for me on capturing the small daily events of a walk or a bike ride, and the juicy weeks of craft retreats, a move, and family/friends gatherings. I can't thank you enough for sharing what you love with us - be it memory keeping, planning, or paper crafting. ♥ PS-FYI: You can sharpen your dies by cutting out pieces of tin foil with them. The same goes for sharpening your paper cutters. Once a month I slice up a piece of foil through my cutters and have never had a problem with them!

When you use markers on the edges you run the risk of actually cutting your tips of your markers. You can pick up eye makeup applicators and they will get into all those crevices just like your sponge daubers. This will save your markers from the felt tip getting cut up!

I love this page so much! What a great inspiration! What is the glue gun you are using? That looks so good! Also, I really ike the electric die cut machine you are using. Which one do you recommend?

Hi Susan, sorry for my late reply here. The glue thing is the Precision Glue Press by My Sweet Petunia. Most scrapbook stores carry them and also online. It's pretty great! Annette - this is a wonderful page - I really enjoy watching all your videos - so inspirational!!! Am also looking forward to your comparison of paper trimmers - I have been sooo disappointed in trimmers for a long time. Seems like I have spent a fortune in trimmers alone, just praying each one will be great and find out that no, it is not what I expected. Also, I have been on the fence about the Glue Press - what do you think about it honestly!!!

Trimmers have been such an issue for so many of us makers. I hope my video will help, so stay tuned for that. I honestly really like the Glue Press. You may not see me using it all the time in my videos, and that's mainly because I'm trying to use up other glues I already had before purchasing it. Some of my bottles have just a bit left in them, so not worth pouring into the Nuvo bottle for the press.

Yes, I do that as well. And sometimes rub a dryer sheet over the die first, but don't tell Els that. LOL.

Annette can you recommend or tell me the die cut machine you use to cut the full page planner dies? The Empress mini looks adorable but I don’t think it fits the full page dies. I currently have a big shot but want to invest in an electric die cut machine.

You are right, the Empress Mini won't be big enough. Anna Griffin has a full size Empress you may want to look at. It's electric too. I use the Sizzix Vagabond 2 which I've had for many years and it still works wonderfully. I purchased the huge Sizzix Switch and I don't care for it. Way too slow for me, and actually TOO big. Another nice option to look into is the Gemini. Good luck in your search.
