Hi there! How do you use manipulatives effectively without them using them as more of a distraction or a toy? I love using manipulatives for small groups but for whole group lessons it seems do more harm than good...any pointers?

I love green bananas too! Luckily I also love making banana bread with the ones that get too yellow too fast! And I had almost half of my class out for 3 days. It's crazy right now!
