hii everyone! i thought since this was the first week of my 2nd semester in university that i would do another week in my life :) this week is going to be a bit more relaxed since the uk is still in a strict lockdown, so i've had to spend it mostly at home! but i have a new hair journey update (or lack of haha), food shop, following me throughout a week in my life as a university student and spending time with carl + waffles, so i hope you enjoy :)

I feel like I'm with a friend when I watch your videos, you're so sweet and down to earth. And your study montages motivate me into actually doing some uni work haha. For video suggestions I'd be interested to know how you keep uplifted when living alone, or how you deal with loneliness? And maybe how you're managing with a LDR? If you're comfortable doing that of course. I don't know if you've done a video about your journey of moving from Canada to UK but that would be so interesting too. But do what you feel like! It's your channel :)

Please never apologize for your videos they are literally the best thing. I feel so calm and cosy when I am watching your video and get inspired to take on the world alone. Between your uploads, I watch your older videos (where you again apologized for being boring but nooo🥺) when I want to feel motivated. Because of your videos, I was motivated to move out and live alone without being scared. I get inspired to be productive, clean, do the laundry, restock grocery etc when I watch you. So thank you for all your content, you can never ever bore us.

I love these videos. I watch other youtubers and I get annoyed sometimes because I feel like they put on a fake personality or do extra stuff to be more interesting but I feel like what we see is ur real personality. I like how u talk to ur animals, watch cartoons and eat real meals. Ur so normal it’s refreshing. And I like how when u talk to ur audience it’s like ur talking as if we’re all ur friends. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I went back to my natural color when I was 23 and never went back. I am 29 now and love my natural hair. I get compliments all the time. When you have natural hair your hair will get natural highlights and lowlights over time. I was not as brave as you though I got my hair professionally colored close to my natural and grew it out from there.

I would love to see a video about how you stay so disciplined! It's so amazing how you maintain a good routine, sleep early and wake early, eat healthy, maintain your school work. You seemed so focused! It must be just you as a person and years of getting shit done hahah but anything around motivation and discipline would be a great video!

I'm going through the same hair dilemma now, I've mostly always gone darker. I've been getting my hair lighter so as my naturally dark blonde/light brown hair grows out it looks alright (also with balayage technique so roots aren't so obviously different). Also neuroscience can be difficult, a lot of how the brain works is kinda of a hard concept to come to grasp with - it's more interesting than biochem at least!

What you could do is use a dye called ‘colour remover’ or ‘colour before’ which is a stripper and supposedly gets rid of all the previous dark dye though u might need to do it twice or you can try and dye it a lighter colour all over without putting it on the roots so that when it does grow out it doesn’t look so harsh!

Megan u don’t need to cope with awful roots! U can just dye your hair all over a lighter colour or use a hair stripper they sell loads in boots called colour B4 or colourless max. That way your roots won’t look bad and could even grow out the same colour! I did this and it was so much easier!
