Am glad your area didn't have hurricane rain . Amazing updates of how to improve as a teacher Always thank you for being an inspiration. I love Dunkin'.
I always enjoy your videos. Btw, I love reading the BFG and I’m about to start this week. My kids love it. I do try and read it in a voice close to his and that keeps them engage.
Wow! I wasn't going to comment but- My 3rd grade teacher also read The BFG to me and I read it to my own 3rd graders now!! I just want to tell you about another book he read to me (which my kids LOVE) It's called Sideways Stories from Wayside School. It's part of a series of 4 books and they are amazing!! I've got another teacher reading it to her class!
Yes I actually made them! DM me on Instagram @mrs_katie_in_elementary or shoot me an email to the address listed in the video description and I can get you a link!
Hi, Mrs. Allain! My name is Jackie, and I am an EC-6 Education major in Texas. I had to pause the video because I had a major "aha" moment. Your group rotations help me visualize what implementing the RTI model for intervention actually *looks* like. I read the textbooks, but I cannot seem to get a clear vision! Thank you so much for showing us your rotation! Can you tell me about how you/your school implements the RTI model? What does it look like when you need to move a student from group one to group two/three? What would happen if you had an overwhelming number of students in group one?
I am so glad my rotation schedule was helpful for you!! Small group takes so much practice! We use our SG time as part of RTI but students who need more intervention receive support from intervention teachers as well. For my classroom groups the students in each group are fluid and I just move them into new groups as needed
