I love love love where you use the font and mask the pic on the other side. Such a great idea. I definitely want to try that out in my album. (Just need to get the digital stamp set) Just love all the inspiration. Thank you so much!
Thanks Anna! Be sure to let me know how it turns out - I would love to see if you’re open to sharing?! You can tag me on Instagram or in the Craft the Story FB group
All photos - yes. As far as journal/quote cards/patterns it depends if it is highly saturated (I.e. the black quote card). For those I do use photo paper. For the ease of this project, I’m printing everything out on photo paper
Thank you so much for the inspiration. Your are so talented and I admire your works. 2023 is my first year to do this project and I´m so overhelmed with all the WITL products. After I watching the video of your 2022 WITL project I fell in love with your style. I have that digital WITL 2022 kit and templates too. Could you plese tell me where those hearts and those black strips with white words you used are from? Are they Ali´s as well?
Thank you so much for your kind words. I remember my first WITL, and I too was overwhelmed. The 2020 WITL Prep Day was the best - helping me better understand the project and to take a step back and relax. Those hearts are from a stamp. And I created the phrases in black with a border in Photoshop.
Thank you Kasha. for your advise I preciate it. Someday yoy should make process videos of your work, I hope so. What font did you use in those text strip?
Thank you SO much for sharing! This is my first year doing this project, i was feeling so excited until it came time to organize a weeks worth of photos...I particularly love the photo of your legs (or kids legs?) dangling above the pool, so simple yet quintessential to a california summer! I also love the photo masking you did with the title on monday. I don’t have photoshop, I was wondering if you knew if you could do something similar on a platform like canva? Thanks again!!!
❤️ It was my legs and a friends dangling - definitely a Cali summer moment. The first year I did this project I too was overwhelmed before I got started. I participated/watched the WITL prep day (2020) and that helped so much!! If you haven’t watched, it’s available on Ali’s site for $5. Can’t recommend enough!! As far as Canva, I’m not familiar with that platform. But I did a quick Google search and found some great tutorials. Here’s what I searched for: “how to mask photo to text in canva”. Hope that helps!
I really like all of your design choices. The use of black and white and the two page spread were my favorite. Also, the AE links are not working at the time that I write this. Also can you link the font you used for the 2-page spread? Thanks!
Thanks Cathy! And a big thank you for letting me know - I fixed those links. Here’s the font I used: creativemarket.com/markvanleeuwen/380670-Oregon-Font
