Hey girl another introvert here😅 I do temping as a dental assistant right now till I start hygiene school MUCH EASIER, LESS STRESS , LESS DRAMA &MORE MONEY! I plan on doing it when I finish hygiene school as well !

Hey Mia!!! I passed my term! I had 4 A’s bc two classes took a hit due to external circumstances so I ended with 2 A’s and 2B’s. Moving along starting Monday. I will have perio, oral embryo, clinic II (local) and dental materials! Have you ever had to clean braces? I had to clean a lingual retainer thirsday of a student who never flosses because of how painful it is to get the threader through. I was going to dye at the sight of all that blood. I had no clue I would see so much blood in this field 😮 thi is the main reason why I DIDNT go into dental school lol any tips/study advice for these coming courses?! :-) it’s so nice to see your doing well and enjoying life! Hey!! thats really good!! Congratulations! I didn't have any patients with braces in hygiene school. However, I had to clean a lingual retainer and used the cavitron and hand scaled. With braces, i recommend using the cavitron if their wires are still on at the time of visit. Also, tips i would have keep doing what you're doing. It seems like you're getting along just fine. lol!

@@miachristina my second patient Wednesday will have braces i don’t feel a lack of confidence I just know it will be a huge challenge and we haven’t learned to use the cavitron. Should I reschedule her? She also hasn’t flossed since she had her braces on for two years now. I JUST learned 🤦🏽‍♀️
