I have made several videos about how we use Gentle + Classical resources, so if you're looking for more, be sure to open up the description, because I have a few of those linked there.

Loved this! I’m reading Family Time Bible with my sons too ❤

We've read through it multiple times and have others....but it's probably our favorite children's Bible.

@@SevenInAll it’s our first time through but it’s definitely going to be one we keep and rotate through! Do you have a video on your favorite children’s Bible story books? I’m very selective in my choices and I imagine you are too 😀

Love your videos! My little kid is 3, so I am just following everything you are doing prior with your 4 year old 😂. Please continue to share what it looks like and how you are teaching. It's soooooo helpful

Ha, that's perfect! My younger son will be three before too long, I'm looking forward to repeating G+C Preschool with him next year. :)

They do have a lovely style, and once you get the hang of the program, are easy to implement.

Nothing wrong with using a different bible than recommended!!! We’ve done 5 in a row so we do sometimes re read stories!!! I love your kids at of narration!!! I love how you make it practical!!! We did mushroom printing!!! Our nature walks involve water so nothing would match up!!!

I think re-reading is a powerful learning technique with younger ages, and can even be used with older ones, too!

I love watching your videos and have for a while. We have kids the same ages and I find that are curriculum choices tend to be the same (g+c, Sonlight, KMWC, all about reading). I’d love to know how you combine g+c with Sonlight. And also, how long (time length wise) do you spend homeschooling with your chosen curriculum each day?

I'll have a video coming out soon with my morning time routine--I read to my boys at breakfast every day, and that's when we do our Sonlight. It's a little hard for me to say what the total time spent homeschooling is every day, because we do several sessions--morning time with breakfast is probably half an hour, snacktime with G+C is probably half an hour...and probably a little more than half an hour total on seatwork (morning binder, math, reading)...but sometimes that's split into a morning and afternoon session...and often has many little interruptions. ;) In the afternoon, after quiet time and before dinner, we'll often play some kind of game, and/or I'll do an activity from Purely Preschool with my littlest. I definitely spend more time on 'school' type activities than many would say is ideal at this stage...but my oldest LOVES books, and thrives with structure, purpose, and something to work on in his day....to much or too long of open-ended playtime isn't helpful for him. He plays plenty, but it's interspersed with structure.

I really like how you organized your art prints. how did you do that?

It's a binder with plastic sleeves that I bought locally. Something like this, except mine has coil binding: amzn.to/3QtRsS2 I use these types of binders for several different purposes in my homeschool, I also use one for the Morning Binder for Primer.
