While it is true about your assertion of the song and its time period in NYC back in the 1970"s, but the song and its powerful lyrics describe the main character Tony played by John Travolta. He had no plans for the future or any ambition but to spend his weekends at the disco. Dancing was his driving force to his ultimate fulfillment for the moment. It was his drug which he could not live without it. only till the end of the film, he realized his life was not going anywhere and it was his awakening. The lyrics express perfectly what he is feeling and faced with which is I'm going nowhere, somebody help me. The anthem to his existence was these two words staying alive.

Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! I’ve never heard any information about The Bee Gees’ (Gibb Brothers) teeth, but even in pictures of when they were really young, they all had those great teeth. My impression of their “growing up” years is that they were not wealthy so I don’t think their family could have afforded that kind of dental work for all of them - even Andy Gibb. But I’m just guessing at this.

Andy Gibb was the youngest of the Gibbs I believe he thought he had to live up to his famous other brothers Barry Gibb helped his youngest brother with the songs Andy sang . So sad Andy had a cocaine addiction and over time it affected his heart and I believe it ended up giving him a heart attack. Marice and Robin are the other two that made up The Bee Gees. Marice died having surgery in 2003 and Robin died in 2015 with cancer . Barry is the last Bee Gees living and is working on his music to this day. The Bee Gees are famous from the movie Stayin Alive back in the 70s starring John Travolta. You should check out there last concert you can look it up because you get to hear Robin sing more omg he had a unique voice I didn’t even realize until I watched their last concert . About his teeth I believe they’re all his lol They had a younger brother Andy who passed away 😢& was also a solo artist & his teeth were identical to Barry’s
His own teeth no veneers. Barry burned his chest at age 2 and spent a year in hospital. Barry did not talk for 2 years trauma maybe that his his singing voice has lasted until today!
