We managed a sneaky weekend away at Blackpool south Caravan & Motorhome club site. The weather wasn't great on the Saturday so we didn't spend as long as we wanted to on the sea front.
The site is 3 miles away from Blackpool centre, there is a local bus route that can get you in to the centre if you don't want to drive.
The site has good clean facilities and wardens are friendly. There is a small park for children and a Chip van that comes at weekends.
There are 95 touring pitches, about 5 grass pitches. It is easy to find, just turn left at the end of the M55!
