I'm in the Philippines. So no Local group for me you might think. Ex Parachute Regiment married to a Filipina. So Invited Para suckers over on Holiday and now eight of us Live in the Local area. So its not uncommon for a boys weekend in the Jungle with Two mars bars and a bottle of JD each as the only regions allowed. Our Record is two weeks in the jungle with just those rations at the beginning. Covid has got us stuck in the UK because we went home for a Reunion and got Stranded on our return so all living in Dubai at the moment. Done a few desert trips to whole the skills.
