As a society we need more of this being done everywhere...our nation is an untidy unloved mess right now, everything is falling down and needs fixing. As a builder, this is the kind of care and attention i really appreciate.

@adamnelson5080 It's got fuck all to do with education. It's got a lot to do with corruption and a government plus council that do not care about anything other than feathering their own nest. I think actually you are the problem. I build and repair stuff, what the fuck do you do?

Nice! I remember doing things like this as a little kid. The walls in the basement would shed plaster, and I'd chip away the loose bits, plaster it over and use laminated cardboard to hold the plaster in place, then the following day, sand down the roughness. Totally pointless, but good practice. Wouldn't mind going back to simple stuff like this. Nowadays it's fixing cars, engines, and combing through circuitry to fix faults in client's hardware.

What material did you use to make them? Is it a mortor mix?
@treecooper8557
@treecooper8557 8 месяцев назад
@@LecheVitrineUK Portland cement, sand, lime, water, heavily painted rebar (enamel paint). When they were setting we'd put stones in the top. Once it was dry I would grind around the stones... sometimes granite, sometimes agate... depending on what the customer wanted. Then id seal it and install.

It's jahn m70 I believe. Kinda expensive. I used to repair cathedrals using it in the same way dude is the video does. He makes a lot of simple mistakes and his patching will last about 2-3 yrs. Not knocking him, just saying. I've been back to check on mine 4 yrs later and still no cracks or separation. The trick is a good slurry coat. An easy hack is instead of using the tools he does, just use a solid flat piece of foam like a trowel. Yup. Foam. Spreads nicely without pulling the material away and won't leave burn marks like metal will. SO much quicker and easier. This dudes patching and finishing is awesome tho! Zero hating. Wish I could work with him for a few days to download my knowledge into him. This kids going to be a master.
