Great video! My husband and I lived on Catalina for about 8 months a couple years ago while we worked at a camp. We were lucky enough to get to live at Emerald Bay and went snorkeling 3 times a week and kayaking at least 2 times a week. I still miss getting paid to play. Love Cat Island and that crazy town of Two Harbors, our weekend getaway spot! #westendisthebestend

Great video! I have lived in LA my whole life and have never been to Catalina. I am going for the first time this weekend for my birthday and I am so excited to explore the island! I am only going for a day, but sometime in the future I would love to do what you guys did and backpack

Wow, amazing editing skillz! You guys could've saved a lot of money, time, and effort by simply just filming yourselves camping out in your back yard at home. Just flash pictures of the actual island across the screen every few minutes like you basically did here. But hey, at least you guys didn't start making out with each other! I was halfway expecting that to happen.

On catalina island lives a little guy with a really big straw hat. He can be found riding the busses and metal detecting on the beach. I don't know his name, but he said that I could call him "Google" because he knows so much about the island. I ended up hiking for a ways with him before splitting off. He also gave my cousin a free hat, which was cool. But he was pretty adamant about not having his picture taken. Interesting guy. I'd love to know if he was really just a nice guy or if he was trying to sell us drugs
Your all videos are very nice. I want tutorial about how you make your travel video. Like your camera settings, camera movement, composition, uses of tripod ad lens etc.

Hey Sarah A thank you so much! Yes we do have Snapchat and Storie, both apps we use to share some behind the scenes and day to day stuff, although truth be told we only really use them when we're on the road. Our username is Vagabrothers
