Oh, that's interesting! We've never really thought about selling things we've found at estate sales. What an interesting idea. We were so overwhelmed by that second sale that we didn't buy anything there. So we didn't buy the 'Our Town' books.

When you said off the plaza on ward parkway I said yeah!! I was raised in KC and I’m 66 years old so I know the area well! I’m subscribing because of the content and area !! Do you do other things ???

Isn’t that what an “Estate Sale” is ? Implied in the name. Someone died and everyone’s picking through their lives. Displayed neatly or not. Same thing

Yes, but sometimes they are just downsizing. It feels different, more like an upscale garage sale.

I love the turkey!! That one estate sale made me sad as well, to think one day your enjoying life and the next day strangers are picking through all of your personal belongings.

I liked those too, but the stand was rusted out so I didn't get it. It's a cute idea to put in my back pocket though.

Watch out for putting hot liquids in bone china (especially fine bone china), they can have a tendency to crack or explode when doing so. It's why the upper class used to put their milk in first when making a cup of tea. This was to cool down the tea/liquid being poured, so things didn't mess-up. Earthenware is more sturdy for hot liquids. Just a heads-up on things.👍

@@PressPlayOnLife No worries.👍 Also I've read in the past that there is another way around it by soaking them in warm to hot water beforehand.
