We took a few days away and went to Alexandria Virginia. It was fun to get away from the busy DC and spend time in Old Town. We still popped over to DC but hanging around Alexandria is something I would recommend for anyone.

Andi I live in the DMV and so glad you came for a visit. Especially glad that you stayed at The Lorien Hotel and Spa my husband and I will be doing a Staycation this week there and I got to see firsthand how the rooms look and they look amazing. We will be eating at the hotel restaurant and at King and Rye.

Andi my husband and I just stayed at the Lorien and had a wonderful time. The hotel restaurant Brabo and King and Rye was delicious

Every time I’m in the DC area I always say that I need to spend more time there. The red lip - yasssss and the sticky toffee pudding in the bathtub…*Alexa book me a hotel with a tub and a nearby restaurant that has sticky toffee pudding* lol!!! Trust and believe that will be happening soon! Enjoyed as always!

If I could I would move to a place like DC because there is just sooo much to do! The red lip comes out every now and then lol but gurl get you a tub and a dessert and for just a little bit all is right in the world!
