Hwever, do add some elaichi powder to the amras and a small quantity of milk if u r short of mangoes and want to increase the total quantity of amras. Using a hand blender helps in making amras. Also alphonso and especially pyrie mangoes, available in Maharashtra r great for amras. Do try pryrie mangoes sometime. Best wishes.

Have you bought seasoned kalchatti from Imam store ? else boil some water in it for 2 -3 times. Then start using it .Initially do not dry heat. add some liquid and cook.
