Nice Pig Destroyer video from the past! Love that band! I have about ten minutes of footage from their 'Prowler In The Yard' set from two years ago on my channel.
I’ve especially proud of far John has come in his vocals. From sounding like a fucking gingerbread man/cookie monster on the first couple of WN releases to evolving into voice that’s both effective and uniquely him, sounding like a crushed and battered war veteran with blood in his throat that’s screaming out his weariness with the war and the world! 😊
When I saw Obituary at the Metro back in May, the band requested part of the barricade by the steps to be opened for stage diving. I have no idea why the bands last night didn't request the same. [EDIT] Just heard from my friends that someone they know was at that Drain show and got hurt really badly when someone stage dove on him.
They usually don't, but someone cracked their ribs when Drain came through in June and ever since, there's been a barrier to prevent more injury - literally every show after that Drain show, theres been a barrier at Metro
Check out my Insect Warfare video at MDF here. It will give you a taste of the WN set at Soundstage. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s4vz6iXuy9U.html
Not a hardcore show with a barricade lol. The good thing is that there’s always awesome no barricade shows going on in the scene at subT, beat kitchen, etc.

@@EXILEDLIVEseems like all the shows there have had barriers since the drain show this summer. Pat Flynn said fiddlehead would be playing metro with “no barricade” during the citizen show but by time the fiddlehead headliner rolled around, there was a barricade
