OMG!! Johanna…..absolutely love those dungies you’re wearing while hoose cleaning!! Really look forward to your weekend yabbers, and totally understand the whole stop spending thing. I’m not bad for being a spender in all honesty, I’m a homemaker and carer for Mum so hubby is the bread winner and I’d feel guilt going overboard with spending pennies but he buys me anything I want when I require and in all honesty, I have everything I need. Books are from library, charity shops and free book shelf from local supermarket so I’ve got loads to keep me going. Hope you manage to curtail the book buying for a wee while, it’s hard being an addict 😂, love from Laura in Grangemouth. Xxx

Awww ta! My dungees are from Lucy & Yak so so comfy! You're inspiring me to be more considered in my spending, it's also because like you I have everything I need and I am very lucky - well a new dishwasher would be good but I'll get that sorted soon, have a car service and MOT to pay for first 🤭 the joys on adulting. And love that you are a homemaker and carer those are tough jobs!

I'm interested in The Last Housewife but it might be too triggering for me. I'm looking forward to finding out what you think of Just Like Home, I haven't read it yet but it might go on my TBR.

Not tmi at all, i have similar issues which doesn't help now I'm back working 5 days in the office. Easier to deal with at home if you get my drift lol, catching up on your vlogs, another good one 😁

Really enjoyed your vlog with a bit of everything. I wonder what you were prescribed for your IBS that helped as Ive had it for years and only modifying my diet has helped. Ive always got too many books and Im currently reading the Fake Mate for the banter which is good fun! Finally finished the family experiment by John Mars which was 5 stars!

My doggies say thanks for the compliment, they are indeed the MC (main characters). I actually really enjoyed Cat Lady think cos I related too much he he he. I'll keep you posted about honeybee!

Yes, watched the Dancing with the Devil doc... very interesting and still shocking to me how people just prey on others in the name of religion. I'm not usually a person who likes dark books and thrillers, but The Last Housewife has me very intrigued.

It's the most vulnerable that they target and the reality (and I say this as a non religious person) is it's not even about religion it's about money and greed and power, it's shocking and to see some of them still on TikTok is weird. The Last Housewife is good but very dark so tread carefully!

Roz Chast is one of my favourite cartoonists! I highly recommend that you prioritize “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?” It’s not an easy read as it deals with a difficult topic that can be scary and anxiety-ridden but the author makes sure you have some laughs along the way.

I really hope Patties test comes back clear. I have jokes with my sister that somehow our dogs always end up with one of our healt problems. I also haven't been swimming in years. I love water but it is always trying to kill me, and yet I never learn my lesson. Your hair looked amazing! What are you cross stitching? Your pride travel cup was so cute The welcome mat was great. Now I want one in Irish. Handy that Fáilte is both Irish and Scotts for Welcome. My GP just treated me for IBS and said there was no point in going through all the testing. The only problem is that two of the relatives in my family have Inflammatory Bowel Disease. And while a miss "Diagnosis" would not make much difference now, i may have to go on blood thinners in the future and that would make a HUGE difference. Don't be embarrassed to share stuff. I know what it's like, especially if im having a flair. That's why I always carry a small deodorant with me. I never want to leave a bad smell :D

Fàilte! Finger crossed, Patti has an irregular heartbeat so they are just doing annual monitoring to make sure it doesn't worsen, if it has she's showing no signs of it, she's a maniac! I'm cross stitching a patter I got from the Women's Institute it has a feminst kinda a saying that for the life of me I now can't remember. Re you IBS and family history are you able to push for tests? Yeah blood thinners are not ideal, my mum is on them! OMG I carry a small deodorant too, trying to make it all a little less embarrassing.

@@MeMyDogAndBooks Fàilte hun, I know poor patti. I have four heart problem right now. I have a degenerative condition known as Marfan Syndrome. I think I would put off testing until I am/might be put in blood thinners. I'm going through so much right now. Finally getting a wheelchair after years of trying to get help. Funny I got to test the type I'm supposed to be getting today, the first day of Disability Pride 🎉🎉

@@MeMyDogAndBooks Thank you hun. It is a life threatening condition that killed my dad. I may have mentioned that on another video but the wheelchair should be yellow and black so i am calling it bumble bee lol. I have a name for all my walking aids lol. I did a lot of walking on Wednesday, I was looking for miniatures, and now two days later im sill in pain with my ACL. :.( looking forward to your next video
