intrusive thoughts are thoughts you dont want to think of,, you dont want to do, etc etc. which is why they’re /intrusive/. they’re harmful thoughts. what you mean is /impulsive/ thoughts. not intrusive. intrusive thoughts are “i wanna poke my arm with a kn*fe” you don’t actually wanna do it but it’s there to bother you anyway.
