Lolz just watch the old weekend updates and you will spot the difference. The idea has always been to take a real headline but use funny details, like Fallons bit on a headline stating that someone wants to make a car that fueled by hazelnuts. Which he says “yeah an 8oz jar cost $9.00 hey i got an idea lets make cars that run on bald eagles and faberge eggs” real headline fake story.

Also they did actually report on real stories. Like the oil line protest and the problem is people can’t even remember where they get their news from anymore. And all these mock news shows are just talking shit about trump and it’s old and boring. It’s the same shit the Russians where said to be doing and if it’s not clearly satire then people will absorb it as truth. Making it easier for foreign entities to distribute propaganda. News should come from a vindicated and well established source. And since those sources have chosen sides politically we no longer have them to rely on.

Elektric Skeptic Yea biased news is a major concern. None of the major news groups agreed with or even contemplated a republican argument from the impeachment hearings. They where democrats 100% truth republicans 100% lies. For me that says it all. There is always good points on either side of an argument, so the fact that mainstream media and all these late shows pick and chose what to display and running a democrats are righteous hero’s narrative, is extremely dangerous for those less likely to think outside the box.

Well, it may say something about how you see others, assuming that everyone else is intentionally being rude, or that we all believe a stereotypical personae of black women. Not all of us do, I think she's just affecting her personality because satire is one of the best forms of comedy.

Sure, but satire that relies heavily on stereotypes is lazy and rarely interesting or funny. Some of the better comics out there have found fresh ways to play off racial/gender or sexual orientation stereotypes without coming off as either stale or tasteless (Bill Burr comes to mind), but these wannabes on RU-vid and Twitter just fall flat. Playing on stereotypes for laughs is one of the most difficult ways to get laughs, only the pros can do it right because they worked up to it, they don't just do it because they think it's cool and funny to be edgy for the sake of being edgy.

Shoot all the comments I read from this video were pretty much all praising Leslie. Maybe if I heard whatever comments you have I'd see it differently.
