Rianna I just want to say I met my husband at 29 we got married when I was 33. We were both in healing phases of our life not searching for a relationship and when I met him I was not expecting to marry him at all! Now we have been married 10years! Your person is out there.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is how it "should" happen just saying that scenerio taught me a valuable lesson, you don't have to work hard at it, it will happen if it's meant to be.

I feel you, Ri! I’m a teacher & just turned 27 and I know there’s nothing wrong with me but it does feel a type of way when a lot of people around you are in relationships, married and/or with kids. I just continue to pray on it, I might not be fully whole in God’s eyes and that’s okay with me.

You are 'Whole'..don't let Society tell you otherwise. No one has it all. I remember when I thought 😲 wow all friends have mate, kids etc (especially around holidays) everyone paired up. Then found out They were secretly jealous envious of my being single, being able to go travel without kids (at that time they were tired of mate, tired of their kids, wishing single). @@ShellynWillis-mb5sg Yes I agree...it's mostly in the summer or around holidays that I tend to become envious and sad about my lack of a partner but I have a beautiful daughter and I have friends who have a partner but cannot or have not had kids so I guess we all have our cross to bear...no one has it "all". And honestly not having everything I "want" is probably good for my character lol. My friends with families and partners also mention they would love to be child free every other weekend, etc

Thank you for the monologue about the season of singleness, all the pressure there is to with someone, as well as the spirit of jealousy when others get what we want to easily. I’m 33 and this is and has been a daily struggle in my life for at least a decade if not longer. I pray He shows up for you and knocks your socks off with your kingdom husband, like tomorrow! Thank you for your vulnerability, because I'm 47 and for years have had the exact same feelings to a T that you expressed about your singleness. I know I'm not the only one, but it still helps to know there are others in the same boat. Often I have to fight against the lies that I'm past my prime and that the pickings are slim the older you get. I've struggled between whether to put myself out there and how or wait on God to bring my husband, and have prayed many times for clear direction. Within the past couple of weeks including your last faith chat I joined, I've been getting confirmation that I should wait, even though it's been very hard and my patience wears thin. But I've decided to be intentional about being present in my single season so I won't look back with regret when I meet my husband. And I've started speaking in faith and thanking God every day for him, and pray that he's praying for me too.

I understand what you are talking about I feel the same way about being single. I was married in my mid-20s and had my son. I haven't had a relationship for longer than six months. I do base it on how my son feels about the man that comes into our lives. I have learned that I'm loving my best life and God will bless us with a God-fearing man that is right. I prayed for men to leave me alone and the only man to approach me was my husband. God honored my request. Men stopped trying, men from my past stopped trying. I was out and saw one of my male friends from high school and knew it was him. Knew he was my husband. He came up and asked me on a date. Been together 8 years. Married for 3 year with little ones. God will do what He says. The wait was worth it. Just be patient. During that time I was working on myself physically,mentally, and spiritually. Then he showed up.

Girrrlllll..... not me up one in the morning binge watching the last couple of vlogs I missed😂 First... Girl we late cause you having whole concert 😂 Second... Im mad at myself cause I watch you & just realized I don’t follow you. Lemme fix that. But I was watching you and at the last couple of minutes you said everything I had literally just prayed to God about. Glory be to the Lord Most High cause I don’t want to be seen by anyone but my husband and I was tearing up saying that prayer cause I do use to seek male validation and it’s like woah now my prayers have to change & have substance. I can’t keep praying mediocre prayers and not be willing to die to flesh. I’ve struggled with the spirit of lust since the age of 5. I’ve just realized that so now I know I have to move different. Our prayers gotta be bold and match up with what we want God to do, even if it scares us.

This is so good. I learned in marriage counseling before I became married that woman are 100% whole and we complete the man just as God created eve through Adams rib lol soooo we are already complete and the the male is the only one who is incomplete. I was told to see it like this adam was the one who is missing the rib bc God took his rib to create Eve. We as woman complete men once we find our kingdom spouse. That’s why it’s important for both the man and the woman to enjoy their singleness and use that time yo be molded to who GOD wants us l to be. And to prepare to be a helper to our kingdom man.
