I hear you on the baking! My daughter loves to bake and she's 10 now so shes actually very capable but i love to bake to relax, but its not relaxing with kids! She does all the fun bits, including licking the bowl and i just get left with clean up 😂
Aww it was great seeing what all you got up to last weekend i know you told me about it but its just so lovely when you bring it to life on screen . I am not long home from a carboot sale which a friend was holding to fund a charity trip to sudan in october so i am now home to have a late lunch and to look through the new novels i bought as a like to listen to audiobooks but really love to spend at least one hour a day reading a real book theres something satisfying turning the pages and waiting in suspense for the next chapter..... does that make me strange ? Anyhow hope this weekend is going well at least u didnt have to do swimming and dance this morning i know u had to go to work but i think you will agree this was the better of the 2 evils lol. This may be a strange question, but have you and Gareth started thinking about a plan for when Lily might need her own bedroom, or maybe Zach? We are very fortunate in South Africa with big houses and big yards, so our three kids each had their own bedroom. At some point they do seem to want more privacy. I see cost of living in the UK is as bad as in SA. I just don’t know how people get into the housing market in SA, and I think the UK is even worse. It looks like you are in the market already, so that’s already a big win.
It is something we have thought about, but honestly, even though we're on the housing ladder, the prices to make the jump to a 3 or 4 bedroom house are so high that even with 2 people working, it's just not manageable. So for now we just have to stick with what we've got until circumstances change xx
