A pastor at a Weeki Wachee church was accused of sexually battering a teenage family member, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Thursday.
You say that like it's a surprise? The church has pretty much always been known for being a place where children are not safe. Sexual assault is such a regular thing in churches that it's literally a stereotype. Billions of dollars get paid out annually by the Christian and Catholic churches to pay victims of sexual assault perpetrated by religious leaders upon vulnerable children. How is this a surprise to you at this point? Statistically, you likely know people that have been sexually assaulted and / or groomed by members of the church.
What could you expect from this? Anyone who would allow their kid (young daughter) around a "crude dude" like this must be lacking in the love, care, concern for their flesh & blood. Look at the animals in the world (insects, reptiles, mammals, birds, etc.) how they put forth the "effort" to feed, care for and protect their young. Why go out in the "wild" to observe animals...just look around in the city!!!
Keep him there. What a jackass. What Seminary did he graduate from? Find out who you are going to church with and who you hire people. This is ridiculous.
