Having spent 40 years in Canada lying on my back in the car park fixing bangers to keep them on the road, I have chosen NOT to have a motor here. As ye said MOT! Weather has been phish to finish the wheelie bin hoose, but it's closer than the week before. Was going to spend money on gas struts for the lids but have decided a hinged wooden block will do. Pennies in my pocket! Woot. Took delivery on a 5" random orbit sander, so between the electric planer and that, flattening and finishing should be covered. Take care & stay safe M8.

Yeah. Mot Sucks! Tell me something is wrong and I'll fix it but don't take my car away from me...pain in the butt! Sounds like you had a good one mate, 40 years in CA and you came to the UK? Must be mad 🤣

@@TheNaturalWorkshop Could be M8. Wifie is a Scottish lass & it was easier to come this way than moving her over there. Was cheaper mostly to live here, until Brexit and Putin.

Apologies mate, had to take some time away as work was super busy. How did you get on? I usually treat them with Danish oil as its food safe when cured.

@@TheNaturalWorkshop hi thanks for that, i did use some food safe oil but it was rather thick and took ages to cure and didn't seem to soak in very well, but they did work out quite well and my boy was very pleased with them so thank you . I will make more just for presents. it fantastic and very pleasing to make something rewarding 👏👍
