You should do a video where you get Atticus to try two different versions of the same food (branded vs. unbranded) to see if he can tell the difference/what he prefers. I.e. McCain French fries vs Aldi French fry style chips, Heinz ketchup, weetos etc. Would be fun to watch 😊
Good afternoon Julie ,Absolutley loved watching your vlog Thank you for sharing your weekly shop its given me some ideas for meal prep, sometimes i run out of ideas what to do end up doing the same meals but you have given me some great ideas for meal prep Thank you Julie, Would like to see more of these videos. ❤
You should try making your own Avocado dip or guacamole. It's much tastier, healthier and cheaper than buying Pre made and it's really not hard to make . Also buying a regular cucumber instead of mini cucumbers would save you quite a bit of money. And in general if you want to cut down costs I'd suggest cooking more of your own food rather than buying all the processed and Pre made convenience foods. Tip for the tortilla wraps, once you open the package you can put the rest in the freezer to keep them fresh. Same for bread throw it or part of it in the freezer on the day you buy it that way it stays fresh and you can just take out the amount of slices you want and elt them defrost or put them straight into the toaster.
Where are you buying 2 avocados, tomatoes ,chilli and lime for under £2? I love making guac but sometimes it’s not cheaper than the pre-made which is 99p in Lidl
Try and make your own jackets Julie. I used to buy the frozen ones but they probably take around the same time in the oven if you prick them and pop in the microwave for a few minutes before
We always do our main shop at Aldi’s and some bits from Sainsbury’s. We have 3 meals from Hello French a week . I agree with you about Aldi and I love the middle aisle! Thank you for your vlog xxx
Hello Julie! But of a throwback but you made a chopped chicken curry with egg fried rice years and years ago on Anna’s channel, do you remember how you made it? I’m itching to give it a try myself!☺️ take care xxx
Have you tried Aldi’s extra thick bread? It’s absolutely gorgeous it’s only 99p and it’s thicker then Warburtons extra thick bread, one slice is enough for me! Only problem is does sell out quick!
Even if you recycle the bottles, the effort (power, pollution etc) of recycling them is still so much worse than reducing the use of them in the first place. And that's if they even end up recycled as lots of plastic never does x
Hi Julie, Aldi is the best supermarket for value and there fresh produce is very good. there steaks are very nice better than Tesco's. You should do a cook with me from some of your meals you bought.
