Your Saturday walk and talks have been a wonderful way to start my weekend! My husband is still asleep, I open the door to hear the birds in my garden, and they join the birds in your garden. I have really enjoyed seeing how fast the garden changes. I hope the walk and talks are useful for you as well, by keeping them going, you can see an entire year of progression at the end of the season.
Yes! Love the Saturday walk and talks 🙏🏻❤️. I also love any videos you do. You are my garden Hero! You have inspired me at 64 to build my garden bigger, better and more beautiful. Thank you so much for all the inspiration🙏🏻❤️
Please continue the walk and talks, love having you and Grace give the tour and see what’s blooming and growing. Excited for new projects! I’m battling bindweed in now two of my garden beds, it is ferocious but I’m determined.
This is the first year I have spray painted my allium purple. I absolutely love it and will do it every year! I might try white next year. From afar you cannot tell they are painted. It brought my garden back to life instead of looking at the brown color.
I wish I lived near you so that I could let you know in person how much your videos have inspired and helped me as a 2.5 year old gardener!!!You are such a genuine human with so much talent. If you are able to continue your Saturday weekly garden tour, just know they are very loved and special to many people. Thank you for everything you do.
I love the Saturday walk and talks. Gardens constantly change and I love seeing that. Plus I get so many good ideas from you! Today is especially pretty with the fog. Such a romantic feeling!
Your weekly garden walks are so educational for those of us new to cut flower gardening - even for those of us living in colder zones! It is invaluable to see what is blooming at the same time and I love seeing the mosaic of textures and colors change as the weeks go by! Please continue.......
My dogs wanted breakfast too. As soon as you started asking Grace, they popped their heads in to remind me that it’s Saturday and we needed to go on our fairly traditional breakfast trip to McDonald’s for sausage biscuits.
The pure color ranunculus are my favorite. Of course, because they look like roses. I cannot leave ranunculus in the ground. Too hot and wet. But once I planted fuschia pink ranunculus with forget me not and I have not forgotten that combo. Was beautiful with bachelors buttons and nigella and poppy border in the background.
I love your Saturday morning tours. It’s such a peaceful and blessed way to start my day. Your garden brings me much joy and I’m not even there, THANK YOU!! Do what inspires you but you have a wonderful way of doing tours! I also love when you do tours at other’s gardens! Enjoy the week!
Danielle, I love your walk and talks! (Especially if it’s easier for you to produce!). Your garden has never looked better and I always learn from you. I love your tips (ex.: giving daffodils one more week then cutting foliage to the ground) as I live 30 miles from you and will copy your maintenance program. So helpful. As a retired librarian, I adore your book recommendations!! Don’t fret about repeating favorites 😊 Love your interplanting plans and am trying to do the same to create a more 4 season garden. I also love your vlogs: i.e. planting ranunculus in the garden beds-so beautiful!! ❤❤❤
I like the weekly walk and talk to get an overview of your garden. I also appreciate the book suggestions. It’s hard to know what books to buy and the glimpses are great. Thank you. Your garden looks beautiful.
Yes Danielle, I love your Sat. garden tours ! Your gardens are just so beautiful because you are such a talented gardener !!! I can't choose a color of the ranuculous that are all so pretty. Love that magical touch of fog !! Thank You !!
Before I even watch this, I would like to say how excited I get to listen to these while I work on Saturday mornings. I see a new one up and say to myself.. "Oh, yay!" ... and yes I peek to look at the beautiful garden images while I listen!
Hi, Danielle: Yes, please do continue the tours. It is so informative and inspirational! Also, just wanted to mention that I noticed your lanterns hanging from your trees. I had birdhouses hanging from one of my trees, that I decided to leave all winter. When I wanted to move it this spring, the tree had started to grow over the hook. I was able to get it free without damaging the tree, but it was a good lesson for me that I need to be moving the birdhouses around, so they don't become permanent structures and damage the tree. I'm sure you figured this out long before I did but I wanted to mention it for the viewers as well. Happy gardening!
Danielle I would love to still have the Saturday mornings walk and talk…that allium has the same shape as Allium atropurpureum…Grace is always so lovely in the garden…awesome gardening buddy…💗
The garden looks lovely Danielle💖My favorite is all the varieties of Ranunculus😁I have enjoy the ones in my garden so much this year🥰The garden library looks so cozy today. I love the weekly garden walks and seeing Grace point out her favorites😂 but I think I love the most the Vlogs seeing you working in the garden and arranging or whatever you are up to🤩Though whichever you choose to do I just love hanging out with you and Grace in the garden🤗🌸
Yes, please continue with your weekly garden walks. It’s so inspiring to see life garden in progressive seasons, gives me so many ideas and encouragement to grow more and in different ways.
As a Back to Back World Champion Kansas City Chiefs fan.... I vote for the Red and Yellow! Love every video you make! Thank you for sharing! You get my vote for best garden on RU-vid!
Also.. Please keep the weekly garden tours coming! You've inspired the "Impatient Gardener" to do the same and its So cool to watch the progress throughout the season!
I love your Saturday garden walks. They're so wonderful and serene. I look forward to them. Your garden is such a beautiful sanctuary. I had to laugh when you asked Grace if she wanted some chicken, eggs and cheese. I had already fed my dog chicken, eggs and cheese a couple hours earlier for breakfast. We sure love our dogs.
Love the weekly garden tours! Grace is a great dog! That was so funny the way she was sticking her head in the bush, looked liked she found something to eat.
My vote is for continuing the weekly tours. So helpful as the seasons change. And, perhaps unbeknownst to you, you are giving such great tips along the way. I watch once for enjoyment and inspiration and once with pen and paper to take notes. Thank you
Your weekly garden tours are something I am looking forward to each week, so please keep them coming if you can 💚💚💚. Your kind of garden is something I aspire to as a beginner.
I love the informal weekly garden walk through! It gives us a better glimpse of the week to week progression of the garden, instead of once a month. Also, the foggy morning lends an etherial quality to the garden ~ it looks very magical
I love the Flower Walks, I hope you continue them! This morning’s walk was particularly fun with a touch of fog. Everything is looking so beautiful. I just planted an Arctic Fox foxglove this Spring and it was gorgeous! I am craving some geums but never see them at the garden centers here. (Dr. Alan Armitage, renowned plantsman, cuts his daffodil foliage down to 6 to 8 inches and never has a problem with the blooms coming back the following year. I’ve been doing it for two years now, see no difference in the bloom production of my bulbs and they really don’t look too bad).
Thank you for walk and talk Saturday's. Please continue. However, I do find myself watching and talking to Grace that I miss the talk. 😂 I just rewatch.
I’m new to your channel. I just love your style and ease of explaining all the gorgeous flowers in the beds. Please continue your walk and talks I look forward to them. The fog in this video seemed so enchanting to me. It was like I was almost there with you.
This is so beautiful and unique that you take us on the garden walk with Grace as if we were all walking with you! Love what you have done with not only all your gardens, but the library too! Thanks for your videos.
Also please continue the weekly tours......to watch it grow and change on a regular basis to so fascinating. It makes me feel like part of your garden.
I love the garden walks because we get views of different parts of your beautiful garden and have a chance to observe how you have designed, and continue to change, your garden for both cutting and aesthetics. Book recommendations are helpful and just the right length. Thank you!🌷
Yes, please continue the Saturday walk and talk. But if that’s too much to ask, a shorter video would also be wonderful. Whatever you create is always informative, calming, inspiring and beautiful. 🙏
I really enjoy the garden walks, great on Saturday morning too. Please continue, or some version of the weekly walk. Thanks for sharing your experiences in the garden.
The walk and talks are wonderful, and if they are less work for you, it's a win/win. Thank you for the book reviews as well. Have a blessed weekend and week.
your weekly garden tours are the only ones soooo relaxing, keep doing them! and longer if you want to~ i hope my garden could look that fabulous this summer (southern hemisphere)
Your garden is always beautiful but today with the mist in the background it is even better. God has given us much beauty in our world. Thank you for sharing that beauty with us.
Yes, please continue your walk and talks! :) I frequently go back and rewatch your videos to see what flowers look like at different stages, as well as the different heights compared to flowers I know. I'm trying so many new annuals, as well as perennials, and I'm in a 6b/7a as well in WV, so I refer to your videos quite often! Most importantly, I turn to you so I know what time of year I should start different flower seeds. Some of the packets are SO generalized for the whole country, but you give better info for when to start- especially those cool flowers! Thanks for all of the info you share, even the little tidbits scattered throughout your walk and talks. :)
Your garden space, with all of the different "rooms', is absolutely stunning!! What an amazing job you have done to transform your space from a really pretty garden to ... WOW!! ❤🎉... And the garden tours are wonderful!! I gained so many ideas from them , and they are just so enjoyable... Thank you!!
