How do you "fake list" your product? I understand Jake recommends this in order to see if your product / sub. category will have any issues, but I can only see the option to Save or List. Thank you.

Hi, I have been watching your videos and following the steps I selected a product made some changes bought GTIN from GS1 and now I am in process of creating Listing so I can get Shipping labels. In your 2024 complete FBA Guide, Lenny says its okay to have product not branded at the start and select option Product not branded as this can later be changed. However, I am getting error 8572 each time I try to create listing (note its been more than 72 hours since GTIN were issued). Amazon says to resolve this I need proof brand is affiliated with UPC\EAN owner. Amazon is also saying Brand is not registered I will need to create generic listing and there is no option to change this later as I will need to create a new listing if and when I get brand registered. Now what is the best way to list a product if you are not yet registered brand but with a view to register brand later if product is successful. Please provide detailed response and highlight any relevant latest refrences that I can use.
Hi there! Amazon does change processes and sometimes they will keep changing them. Currently, you need to decide if you will brand the product and go from there. If not branding, you can list as generic - there is no option to change this later, you'll need to start over with a new listing. If you are confident, branding is the way to go and helps with many things including listing protection, A+ content etc. To list without a trademark, clarify with AMazon what they need, usually just a receipt to prove the product was purchased by you and you own the account etc.

Hi! I've been trying to list the product that I want to sell and Amazon keeps denying it. Are there categories that are not accepted? Or how do you get approved to sell?

We have temporarily deactivated some of your detail pages because they are potentially violating Amazon’s Restricted Products policy And when I appeal, I get this message We are not accepting applications to sell: Other product(s) Other Health & Personal Care category in Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)
You would need to be approved to sell in specific categories, this is called ungating. You need to submit receipts or whatever Amazon requests as supporting documentation. Once ungated, you can list in the category!
Can I use ali babas suppliers images if those images are used by multiple suppliers on ali baba and multiple people are using those same images on amazon as well?
What’s the cheapest way of doing my product shipping, let’s say i have 5 variations of my products and i ordered 500 for each. I want to send 200 each variation to amazon fulfillment center and 300 to a 3pl company. Can I ask the supplier to split the shipping into two or have it all shipped in 3pl then the 3pl will forward it to the amz fulfillment center?

Hi there! You'll need to have them send a finished sample to you or directly to your photographer. Otherwise you can put up temporary pictures while you r inventory arrives at Amazon - Then you can order one unit from there
I want to sell two products in the same category as PL. When creating the listing for them should i add both of them in the same listing by adding one product and seconds as a variant? Or should I sell them individually with two different listings? Which strategy would be better given that Amazon usually suggests both of these products to be bought together if a customer wants to buy either one of them.

Like I'm doing product sourcing from China and have amazon fba account as I'm not purchasing inventory from usa , I'm only selling in usa and I'm not us citizen do I need all state stream sales tax certificates to file 0 return or I have need 1 sales certificate .
Amazon likes to use the FNSKU barcode over the UPC barcode because it is easier to track your inventory and keep your inventory separate from other sellers' inventory. You only need one barcode for a product.
Amazon's policies state that each seller must have their own individual account, and using multiple accounts or sharing an account with another seller is not allowed. 😉
I have seen some sellers for example ( 3 sellers are there on Amazon platform selling A apply.... One seller mentioned 200gm weight... And another 250gm * 200gm seller are more profitable in fulfillment cost that Amazon take......whyyy this seller decrease weight??????? If Amazon catch him 😂😂 what will be penalty???????
My ali baba supplier granted me permission to use their images but amazon lot of other suppliers on ali baba are using the same images and even on amazon a lot of people are using those same images as well,So can I still use the images or is it against amazon’s policy?
As long as you have written permission to use the photos, I think you're all good. But I suggest doing lifestyle photography on the product for you to have an edge from your competitors.
