I have paid attention to many presentations by many experts but yours is very simple and nice. No one tells about a simple strategy that can be adopted on an expiry day. It would help if you can contribute on this. There is a big hype about Hero to Zero or vice versa.

It would help if you compare the advantages of having multiple short straddles-- for example having a weekly straddle along with a monthly straddle in the current month or say in the next month. Of course, this will be only for those who can afford that.

Simple and clearly explained. Hope to see more videos like this. May I ask you one clarification? After taking deep short straddle ( Aug ) How much loss in intra day we can hold. For eg Rs 2-3k net loss ,we can continue to hold or book loss.
Hi, Crisp and clear explanation. In short straddle- If the strike price is between the break event point for both Call and Put, I will see profit in both Call and Put as per your explanation. In that case, can I buy both Buy and Put and close the call on a given day rather than waiting for the Expiry date?
@@dr.s.barathkumar117 Thanks for getting back to me. No Sir not about Long straddle. It's about Short straddle, that's when we sell both CALL and PUT. So if the fluctuation is between the Strike price and the Breakeven point, it's a Profit. So, in that case, we need to buy the options if I'm right. Eg: ATM- Both Call & Put 15800+Premium 200Rs. So if Calls is between 15800-16000, it's a Profit. If Put is between 15600-15800 it's a profit. So when I see the profit on any of the sides I can buy the option and Exit. Correct me if my understanding is right for Short Straddle.

Sir I want to ask you something, if we put a strategy in zerodha basket and we analyse that it will show a result,as well as we create a same strategy in OPSTRA we r getting another result some time opposite result, which is the correct one .for example buy 38000pe August Sell 37000pe on 12th aug In both OPSTRA and ZERODHA ITS Shoing opposite result pls clear me🙏

Sir, additional trade also should be a 2nd straddle or only selling of PUT & ignoring CALL when market is bullish, It that is the case, chances are more for loss when market reverses.
If there is a gap down more than 300 pts or else Gap up. How will you adjust?? Example you have sold 15900 CE and PE But next day marker open at 15600 . How will you manage??.
Dr. Explained well...But a newbie may incur HUGE LOSS if he takes overnight SS positions in case of huge gap up or gap down the next day as u have not mentioned about Stop loss or hedge. I think u have missed this part. Rest explained very well.

In a straddle, if rhe PE leg comes to ITM, and if I hold until expiry (weekly & monthly) how do we manage the margin requirements? If I hold the itm position till expiry, I feel Margin req is huge. Is my understanding right? How to manage? Appreciate your reply.
