Yea though we must be of a pure heart so we can speak a new language of purity. How can something bitter not bc sweet. Since does not bitter things persist bc of the sweet and pure.

But why do we say Jacob stole the blessing ? He bought the birthright that Esav despised. Certainly the blessing belonged to Jacob already?

That doesn't justify a law that forces a prayer time upon all descendants. Following descendants would impose on their descendants no time for the rest of their lives. So what justifies making it a law? People do need to pray. I get that. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were at times less than perfect examples too. Their greatness is because God was faithful to his promise to them. They would have had no greatness except God blessed them. The Lord says he saves us not because of who we are but because he chose us.
