Been flirting with reading something from the bourne series, might forget about that for a while. Tbr is too big already anyway. Looking forward to seeing kevin and your own review of Flint. Have a great week!
Hey brother... Thanks for the shout out... I really appreciate it. Sorry the Bourne series isn't great... Look forward to you and Kevins take on Flint... Also I'm going to have to get that Durfee series... I'll wait for your final thought but your selling it for me.
By now, I know you have found that the movies have almost no connection to the books except for the titles. While I watch the movies over and over, I still like the books because of the slower pace and the details as Jason tries to figure out who he is and what he is supposed to do.
@@OuterWorldMedia Just for your interest, Robert Ludlum only wrote the first 3 books before he died. Then a pretty good thriller writer, Eric Van Lustbader wrote the next 11, after that, it was Brian Freeman who wrote the last 3 so far. Personally, I liked Van Lustbader's books a little better.
Sorry you're not loving The Bourne Identity. I'm not really enjoying this Ralph Peters Civil War series. It really stinks when you're excited about a book/series and it underwhelms. I don't miss the Texas heat. It's been in 70s up here in the Midwest. I'm loving the weather right now. I liked Flint. It was a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ book for me till the ending. The ending dropped it down to a ⭐⭐⭐ book. It just felt a bit too Disney. The Brian Lee Durfee series sounds interesting. Happy reading!
Sorry you’re not enjoying that civil war series sir. I need to pick up a copy of that civil war book you recommended to me. And the heat here is something I don’t think anyone gets use too lol and really? Too Disney? Hmm well that may not be the best thing then.
@@OuterWorldMedia I hope you enjoy Flint; it might just be me. Idk? The Civil War book I recommended? I don't remember? It was probably "The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara. Still my favorite Civil War novel all time.
