This week there is a ton of Video Game statue news! Some teasers, some in-hand pics, some 1st time reveals and possibly the nicest statue I've ever seen!
On the subject of 1st time reveals, there are a couple great Anime statue teaser/reveals, including the full reveal of the Figurama Vampire Hunter D statue.. and I have mixed thoughts on it.
There are also some early Comic statue renders, some miscellaneous updates and a ton more!

I agree with you on the P1 variants. It seems like this is their new business model going forward, as every DMC statue now has a variant for PO.

The Gunslinger comics have been fantastic! The writing has actually been good, a surprise from McFarlane, and the art from Brett Booth is unreal. King Spawn has also been really good. I agree on the Gunslinger statue being a bit busier than I'd like, mostly the dog, but the the swap out options are pretty great. I think it also comes with a little bust to put the leftover swap outs on. Overall it's pretty damn good. I have it pre-ordered and can't wait to get it to sit next to my OG Gem Mint Spawn.

Lisa and Tina were always my favorite DoA girls, but that Marie Rose statue is pretty sweet too. I agree with you about the phoenix tattoo on that topless cyberpunk girl. I think it looks a bit gaudy. Otherwise an amazing statue though.

Made an error about the Sephiroth, thought it was the Dragon Studios version recasted - which is actually the "peaky blinders studio" version. Anyway, thanks for another nice video!

Completely agree with voting with your wallet, same reason I refuse to buy the Bloody Nightmare Berserker even though I have the rest of the line. Just a really crap business practice they have taken up.

Loving these vids. The D statues face is a bit bland with the colour shading around the eyes. That Nanaki and Sephiroth are outstanding!

Cant wait for the jubei review. Ninja scroll is one of my favorite anime as well. Omni man is sick as well. The Geralt portrait is bad imho. My interest sank after i saw the portraits. My Morrigan also arrived just today and i love her to bits. She is gorgeous.

27:41 I also don't know about her (story).. but man.. this statue is gorgeous 🤩 If someone gets this.. I think even as a representation for the female beauty is enough (to motivate someone to get her into their collection). She is gorgeous (and I'm not taIking just about her body.. but also about her face / portrait. She is quite beautiful). I agree with you.. if we can find it at a resonabIe price.. I might get her too.

Nice, took on the 1/3 Klassic Jade! I think she's closest to the MK3 Jade. I have their 1/3 Kitana and Mileena and was hoping Jade would have been just as epic.. but disappointed with the NRS adjustments like the mesh and overall less sexualized than the MK games. The edition size is pretty legit though and overall it's still a quality statue - just feels a bit censored. That acid base is absolutely incredible, same deal with their new 1/3 Klassic line Mileena as well. A new 1/3 Klassic Kitana is also coming.

Yeah, they're looking good, but I agree. Not a fan of some of the choices. I hate the censorship NS is forcing on them with these.. and just how PC the games are getting when it comes to sexualization of characters in general.

Cool.. your Kotobukiya Morrigan arrived. Mine shouId arrive in the last 2 weeks of september (or at least that's what the site from where I ordered her.. shows) 😁 There was quite a wait tho. Pre-ordered her in early october 2021. (close to 1 year wait) 🙄 / Hope I receive their Mai this year too.

@@PrimeCollectibles For as much as you collect.. you should keep less Mai(s) 😁 Gotta have space for some other characters / statues too. Keep one or two (max) if you love that specific character. (edit: taIking about the bigger ones.. cuz the one from Kotobukiya is easier to display somewhere).

Thanks for bringing to my attention the 1/4 piece Knight by U-Loop & Love cacao. The only two places i have seen this up for sale include GunDamit and GameHarbors. I know nothing about either of these companies. Who did you use? ^_^

regarding the Witcher Statue: I am a huge Witcher fan and really like this in general (cover of Blood and Wine expansion, got it as art print behind me) - but I have to agree with you. The portait is a complete fail on these pictures. I have the 1/3 Geralt from P1 here and compared to its potraits it is really crap. Anyway 1 big Geralt is enough for my room :-)

I wanted their next Kitana (MK related) from PCS.. but for me to get it in Europe it will be quite expensive (I include shipping too when I say this).. so I think I'm gonna pass. (even if Kitana is my favorite female character from MK). There is another RU-vidr that also collects statues.. and he said his past Mileena (MKX version) from the first wave of MK related characters that PCS did.. was like 700 $ 😄 ..and he considers that Mileena a better statue than this new Jade. (Kitana wiII also have like the same pose and round base) Now I m not saying that this is a bad statue.. (she looks good too).. but for me is pricey. To be more exact.. to get it in the country I live.. it will cost: 1765 $ 😄 (while on the site you showed it shows 1155 $. I still think that their MK female statues should be priced like their next Vampirella. Around 900 $. This 1155 $ thingy is like pushing it (or push their Iuck.. cuz it might not sell well enough).

Yeah these are all fair points! I have similar issues getting these into Canada, though maybe not quite as bad as there. Agreed though, I'm not sure this should be more than their 1/3 Vampirella, which imo looks like a better statue. Probably cheaper for them to get the license though.

Listen man.. I know you are pissed about what Prime 1 wants to do with that Silver WW.. but I still think you should get it. Why ?.. Cuz a few weeks ago Batman Statue Collector (on YT) posted a video with the Injustice 2 Wonder Woman.. and I did comment back then that I analyzed all their recent Wonder Women and I think that the Rebirth Wonder Woman (Artgerm based ?) has THE BEST face portrait. Yes.. I do think it's better than let's say WW vs Hydra and the Inj2 WW. If you want a gorgeous Wonder Woman that ain't Iike a silicone bust or a JND piece (or whatever).. this Rebirth WW is the one to get. She's gorgeous. You can start hating on Prime1.. but have this as an exception (for getting). 😆

about WW, over in the anime community FREEing is really bad for doing that variant shit. they make a lot of bunny outfit figures with fishnets only to release a "bare leg" version some time after the og release. but people don't know if there will be a bare leg version later so they don't want to miss out on getting the normal version and often end up buying both. at least Prime1 is showing the silver one while the gold is still in preorder so people can choose which they want? idk. I'm not very familiar with DoA but Marie Rose is listed as being 4'10. like there are real women with smaller proportions like that but I don't blame anyone for feeling creeped out by it, anime style typically makes characters look even younger than they are which is not great for an 18 year old in a sexualized fighting game. probably better not to think about but a 1/1 scale Tifa nude bust made from silicone sounds less like a statue for display and more like it's meant for uh... being intimate with.

Haha last bit made me laugh. So true. Yeah, I've heard that about FREEing too, they've really pissed a lot of collectors off with those practices apparently. It's not cool. Thanks for the insight re Marie Rose, like I said, no hate on fans of the character, but those statues specifically just looked a little.. well creepy to me lol.

They given a little bit of manga/anime vibe to the Naraka character, she's Matari an assassin using sand and wind to teleport and go invisible. That costume is an exclusive one ingame. An awesome character and sexy as well.
