As a fellow thin girl I feel you! I’m black and there’s a stereotype that we’re all curvy and voluptuous and I’m actually thin and small chested. But I’m coming to terms as well and being proud of my weight as long as I’m eating good and I’m healthy. 🤍✨ So excited for your Korea vlogs :)

I appreciate the fact that you are focusing on feeling stronger and having a healthy view of yourself rather than letting the comments get you down and put you in an insecure place. I'm on the same journey as you! I've been told i was "too skinny" my entire life, it's so hard for people like us who have fast metabolisms and find it hard to gain weight no matter how much we eat. But i've also stopped allowing those comments to affect me and just continuously worked on myself at the gym and eating more. People's comments dont matter as long as we are healthy and happy with ourselves! You're doing amazing!

You could move to Antarctica and I would still watch your vlogs!! I'm also a small chick (we're probably nearly the same in measurements) and have come to realize that my "healthy" looks different than other people's. I switched to whole milk, try to snack more often, and pour olive oil on errryyything to give me an extra boost when I need it thought. I'm still small, but I'm healthy and THAT'S what matters.

Very happy to see someone has discovered resistance training. In my 40s and still moving with ease as in my teens, I owe my youthful mobility and looks completely to lifting weights.. particularly lifting with a full range of movement. Happy training!

Oh honey I see the results 👀. You definitely look stronger. You’ve motivated me to do more training. I’m quite a bit older than you and I’ve grown a thick skin when it comes to the skinny comments… I guess it comes with age. But working out will make you feel powerful , regardless of what your size is. There’s just something about watching your body be able to do something it wasn’t able to do before- very empowering.

Don’t pay any heed to people pointing out your weight - as long as you feel healthy and happy that’s all that matters. (Probably came from people like me who wished we had your metabolism. You’ll be one of those lucky moms who won’t even show until 8 months. I’m not even pregnant, but if I wear an empire waist dress, everyone on the bus or subway gives up their seat for me. Some days I’m grateful when I’m carrying heavy stuff, but mostly I’m mortified. Especially when I forget to waddle a bit when walking towards the exit.) If those comments stemmed from concern, just feel special for having so many people looking out for you. You might’ve began the year walking around feeling a little lonely, but look at all the friends you accumulated in such a short time. You really had a fulfilling year there, personally and spiritually. Plus you got the best views ever. So lucky you didn’t have to suffer in this heat and humidity in Seoul. I’m so ready for summer to end. 😊
