Watching this vlog on my tv and had to open my laptop to come comment! Literally have me sobbing. I don't even want to be an influencer. The pep talk at the end. I needed. It's so hard wanting to do something creative and not knowing exactly what that thing even is or how and having passion but seeing NOTHING from it. Feeling stupid from family or peers who don't see it and its haaarrddd. I've been so mad at myself lately cause I always make it so far then get just the RIGHT amount of push back from life and give up. Take 100 steps backwards from the 1 step forward I was originally so proud of. Being on social media and seeing all the options/people/possibilities-its overload- SUUCKKSS. Wanting not even just like an instant gratification but an instant validation SUCCKKSS (then getting it and imposter syndrome takes it) I needed to hear this. Things take time

Thank you for your message about content creation, Allyiah. I quit RU-vid in 2021 because I got so obsessed with "the benefit" and metrics. I am aware of it and have continued creating content for the last three years, but I've been struggling to sit down and edit and post. i see my fiancé regularly creating content, feeling envious that he stays motivated to create, BUT he's regularly complaining about the lack of reward and how "there's no point." Your reminder to focus on those who support you v those who don't was the last push i needed to edit and post. I have a community, a small one but one nonetheless, that supports my love of content creation and i need to focus on that and not what isn't there. I'm hoping this will encourage my fiancé to view it the same so we can remember why we love creating. Thank you! ❤

Doing it right now 😂. You slowly build the stamina if you’re consistent. I can do 3.3 speed and 12.5 incline now. Been doing it for like a year now.

Your talk about people expecting to go viral after 2 months and such but being where you are and still having intrusive thoughts of "I have no talent" "I just talk to the camera" really resonates with me because it seems like that inner nagging voice never goes away, even if you're as wonderful and successful as you are! Imposter syndrome is debilitating but you are at the point that you are at and have received the blessings you've received BECAUSE you're talented and special and people love you. Allyiah, girl I saw a lot of your journey, and you are as real as it gets. I would say you have been authentic, and consistent, even when you were finding your way. I definitely don't see how people are jealous of you or could hate on you. I love your family time, especially, your aunt. And you have shown growth with your mom, love her too. I want to get into streaming, and I have everything set up for years, but I have this fear of failing when this could be the thing that takes me out of this 9-5 cycle that I hate. It’s me coming back for the 2nd time simply to rewatch the ending bit of encouragement to work hard. Best way to come back with a vlog.
